Using the PS4 controller with the PS3 and other devices

Saw this over at GAF, a list of PS3 games that the DS4 works with. Long list. There are a few that it doesn't work with, though, among them GTA V and Resistance 3.

Also:
- Must be connected with a cable; cannot support wireless
- Vibration, Motion Sensing, and the Playstation Button do NOT work
- Connect a DS3 as a second controller, and use that for the PS button.
- Share/Options work for Start/Select, similar to DS3

Just reviewed the list. That is a lot of games! Yeah I'll be getting a PS4.

I just plugged the my DS4 into my desktop cause Im anxious to try it out. I have to take the time to bind the controls for Battlefield 3 before I do but I gotta say the new controller has a satisfying "click" to it when inserting the micro USB into the controller. I found on the DS3 the cord would fall out easily.

So Ive been playing Battlefield 3 PC online for a few hours with the DS4 and Im having a hard time getting used to it.
I almost never touched my PS3 and played everything on Xbox 360 so thats what Im used to.
For one the triggers are too short. They're not every the width of my finger in height and I have thin fingers.
The thumbsticks feel great but I dont like them being on the same plain and I do touch thumbs at times.
Now Im kinda in limbo cause I was planning on buying everything for PS4 but I cant get comfortable with it.
Damn it.... I hate the idea of playing BF4 in 720P. Grrrr.

I love the PS3 controller....so I'm just imagining perfection with the new controller. I'm not a fan of the 360 controller.
