What game are you playing now ? v. 2.0

Dishonored 2: Loved the first and am really digging the second after a couple hours, it seems a bit harder? More strategically placed enemies etc. I was thinking of trying to go through the game unspotted but don't think I have the patience for it.

Forza Horizon 3: Absolutely stunning to look at and a blast to play, they really knocked it out the park again loving it.

Mafia 3: Have fond memories of the first and am enjoying this too. Some of the cutscenes and back stories are a little boring and dragged out though but love the setting and atmosphere of the game (No I'm not racist).

Still on The Witcher (chapter 3 now) and Lost Odyssey. Picked up The Golf Tour on the Steam Sale to try it out on my laptop because it somehow met the requirements, but the performance was like a corpse's ass so I had to have it refunded. Shame, but with the second one coming out soon and probably on the XBox One at some point, I'll just wait for that.

Getting back into games some more. I got a ton of games for Christmas - which is funny because I only asked for Gears of War 4. I ended up receiving:

Gears of War 4
Uncharted 4
The Nathan Drake Collection
The Last of Us: Remastered (had digital, now I have the physical)
Ratchet and Clank

Been playing Ratchet and Clank and I love it. I'll try and write a review once I finish it.

I also finished Episode 1 of Telltale: Batman. I enjoyed that as well, so I will probably pick up the rest of the season.

I plan on playing Uncharted 2 after Ratchet and Clank and then Gears of War 4. Next, Uncharted 3 followed by Uncharted 4. I'll probably wait a little bit on The Last of Us: Remastered again. I've beaten that game plenty of times but I'll definitely go through it again.

I also still need to pick up No Man's Sky, Gravity Rush: Remastered, and Forza Horizon 3. Oh, and The Last Guardian when it drops in price. Holy s***, RE7 comes out soon too.

The Ratchet & Clank PS4 game was so much fun, I ended up buying Ratchet & Clank Into the Nexus, Quest for Booty, Tools of Destruction, Crack of time, Full Frontal Assault, Sly Collection, and Jak & Daxter Collection for the PS3.

Finished: Song of the Deep, Tearaway

Playing: Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus, Shadow Tactics, Jak and Daxter Collection (Part 1)

Dark Souls 3 - I'm a noob at this series and i think I died 50+ times to get past the first boss. Game is freaking hard. It's frustrating and often feels clunky and cheap but I'm hooked. Flashbacks to Ghosts and Goblins.

Gears of War 4 campaign - about 2/3rds through. Solid but not spectacular. AI and thin corridor levels haven't evolved since the original.

Fallout 4 - 5 hours in and I haven't fought more than insects yet or met another human since leaving the vault. Spent too much time rebuilding my home town.

NCAA 14 - booted up the 360 for this

Doom - not real far in the game but I don't think this will stick with me. Little boring to look at and play.

Rise of the Tomb Raider - actually in my batters box and should be my 2nd most played game once I finish Gears

Batman Arkham Knight: damn! This game is slaying ittttt!!!! It ran down my leg like a prolapsed anus 6 months ago, and now it would be my GOTY! Playing it on PC, I should state.

Also, the dead body investigations? The guys they chose are so f***able!

Finished: Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus (PS3) and Jak and Daxter Precursor Legacy (PS3)

Playing: Wolfenstin the New World (PC), Rage (PC), Shadow Tactics (PC), Jak II (PS3)

Just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider last night, have to say it was good but not as good as the previous game. I'd probably say it's a 7.5 overall, good game and worth playing but it doesn't really do anything special.

Recently finished up Zelda: A Link to the Past. Was a fun game. Going to take a break for a bit before playing Ocarina of Time. Thinking my next new game will be Bravely Default.

Finished: Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus (PS3) and Jak and Daxter Precursor Legacy (PS3)

Playing: Wolfenstin the New World (PC), Rage (PC), Shadow Tactics (PC), Jak II (PS3)

Think I have two missions left in Shadow Tactics. Great game so far.

Rise of the Tombraider - Started it today and so far it has been good.
Witcher 3 - Double dip, and still very early in the game.
Assassins Creed Syndicate - Just finished installing it.

All on PC.

Made it through Ratchet and Clank (2016). Loved it.

Started Uncharted 2 again. I forgot how short this game is. I made it to Chapter 19 in just a few hours.

I finished Wolfenstein New Order last night. It took me about 9 hours to complete on normal difficulty. Story was eh, but the smooth gameplay itself is what drew me into the game. Liked it so much, I bought Old Blood.

I'm going to stop playing Rage. Game is boring as hell with no story whatsover. It seems like I'm doing the same s*** over and over.

Playing: Momodora - Reverie Under the Moonlight (PC), Wolfenstein Old Blood (PC), Shadow Tactics (PC), Jak II (PS3)

Next up: Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PC), Jak III (PS3), Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty (PS3)

I hear what you are saying. The new one does have some ooh, awww moments in the beauty of the graphics but I really didn't enjoy the story nearly as much as the prior and I felt the tomb puzzles were more challenging/interesting in the prior game. It's been over a year since I played the prior and just a few months since the new one and I bet I could tell you more about the story of the older game than the new one.

Rise is still a top 10 game for me this gen but the original was a top 5 for last gen. Both great games, but like Uncharted the sequels sometimes aren't better than their predecessors.

I'm now 80% Dark Souls 3, 20% Gears of War 4. Can't believe I never discovered the Dark Souls series before. Have played 21 hours and barely scratched the surface of this thing. Amazing game.

The Dark Souls series is awesome.

When I've actually had time to game lately, Ark has consumed me.

If I enjoyed pain I would have been in a state of ecstasy.

I do feel ya there. Add me to the oldtimers club with a back that flares up whenever I overdo. Never been down more than a day or so unlike you but I can certainly empathize if yours is worse. Hope you rebound well and put it behind you for a bit.

Assassins Creed Syndicate - Manged to play a little beyond the prologue and think this might be the most enjoyable in the series since AC 2..at least as far as general gameplay goes.

Completed Uncharted 2. Overall, it was pretty good. The last two chapters were horrible, though. It was probably a better overall game compared to Drake's Fortune but it won't have the same memories as Uncharted 1 had back in 2007.

I think I'll wait to play Uncharted 3. This is all a build up to Uncharted 4. I might throw an indie game in-between these AAA titles.
