What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Yeah I would say some vibes of Twin Peaks, E.T. and Stephen King.

Damn just finished episode 4 and this s*** is getting a bit disturbing with some serious WTF is happening here moments for me haha but I can't stop watching!

We watched Stranger Things last weekend. It only took us two nights. Loved it! Was a great throw back to the 80's. I got a early seasons of The X-Files vibe too. Awesome soundtrack.

Looking forward to what they do with a season 2.

My son and I finished Star Wars Rebels season two recently. EPIC season finale for old school Star Wars fans. I really like the show. Great for family viewing and has enough throwbacks for old Star Wars fans. Good stuff.
 
Just finished the second season of Supernatural, such a good show, I always thought it was a teensie show which is why I never watched it but really enjoying it and a couple touching moments too.

Same here. I thought that exact same thing. It couldn't be further from the truth. It's a great show.
 
Fargo Season 2. I liked it a lot, but not as much as the first season. I think it's just because Billy Bob Thornton was so awesome.
 
Started watching BoJack Horseman.
 
Started watching breaking bad again and now remember how much I hate the wife.

Just watched the first 7 episodes of "The Night Of"

Really good IMO. It's a mini-series (I think) on HBO with significant ties to The Wire with writers and actors etc. You get The Wire and Oz vibes from it. God I love a good HBO series like this :D

Basically a whodunit in NYC, or a rated R Law and Order. Brought about a lot of racial thoughts for me like stereotypes that might be within me when presented with a lot of the scenes . Just interesting the thoughts and questions this show brings about for me. To me that is good writing to challenge the way you think.

One more episode still to come.
 
So somebody on here recommended I watch this a while a go, but I totally forgot what it was called up until 3 days a go.

Making a Murderer - Only finished 4 episodes thus far, but man, what a story. Is hard to believe that this is actually a real life true story at times.

It's some of the best writing I've seen on TV in quite some time. It's very tight and you can see a wonderful progression, or regression is some case, in each character. I liked it when I first started watching it. The last episode made me really enjoy it and look forward to it every week. A really good series. I'm excited to see how the season ends.

FYI, James Gandolfini was supposed to play John Turturro's part.
 
i feel like i heard so much about it by now that watching it wont shock or surprise me
 
Narcos season 2. It just dropped like that!

Love this series! S02E01 did not disappoint :) This is getting binged.
 
Sherlock is pretty darn fantastic so far. They are long episodes that are like an hr and a half. Each episode feels like a movie. They are such quality, too. Not at all what I was expecting. Very clever way to make it modern. I just started season 2. Great openner! I breezed through the first season. Highly recommended.
 
Almost done with season 5 of Sons of Anarchy. I like it and find it entertaining, but it's not as great as some people I know made it out to be.
 
Wow, Fear of the Walking Dead is really hitting its stride right now. Loving it!

4 was good but Season 1 will always be my favorite. I lost interest in this past season halfway through.
Anyone see Season 6's premiere? Would like to hear some forum goers opinion on it.
