Whats your PS4 Day One Buy List?

1. PS4
2. DL DriveClub

On the fence
3. 2nd controller - not til I find a local multiplayer game worth buying
4. PSN+ - what free games would be available? Not sure if I can buy it directly through the console or if I need to buy a card.

Honestly I am fairly disappointed with Sony's launch lineup, the only possible ace-in-the-hole would be if the multiplats perform better by a fair margin. Some of the EA stuff has extras only on XB1 and the headset issue for online gaming has me scatching my head. As it stands right now it looks like I may be offline single player gaming on PS4 (Infamous 2nd Son looks great) and still playing sports titles and multiplayer with my XB1. Still have a month to get more clarity on my thoughts.

It's a headset included, wich you hook up to the controller - you can probably use that a week or two.
Exclusive content sucks, but atleast it goes both ways, Ubisoft stuff like Watchdogs and AC has extra stuff on PS, and Destiny from Activision also had some exclusive crap for Playstation - whenever that comes out. :-/

Super Motherload and Tiny Brains are the ones I found most interesting if you want some local two-player fun.
Of the bigger titles Knack, Injustice, Skylanders, CoD, and basically all the sports games are also supporting on couch-multiplayer at launch, but those didn't seems as fun as the smaller titles to me. :)

If there isn't much to get excited about with PS4's launch (and the PS4 headset issue), just wait it out till 2014 when more games come out and the headset thing is patched.

I have no games preordered for either system. Waiting until I see reviews before I put any money into multiplatform games.

Killzone? Maybe after some reviews or if it has co-op campaign.
Feel free to hit me up on PSN (Toxic_Vampire) as I'll need some FIFA bros.

Also as a heads up, at Best Buy if you're a rewards member you can get $10 back for pre-ordering FIFA 14 and WatchDogs. Might be a couple other games as well...

PS+ 1yr sub
Killzone

Will be renting most of the other release games to give them a try, might buy another, who knows.
Of course will download the Free To Play games to give them a try: Blacklight Retribution, Warframe, War Thunder, etc. And the DriveClub PS+ free version as well.

Yeah, I've considered but if I cancelled my pre-order I wonder how long before I'd find another - could be March before they start sitting on shelves. I can afford it so it's no big deal to have it sitting there and I'd rather have that than miss out on stuff.

Same thing with the XboxOne. Nothing compelling at all in the lineup.
Plus there's the risk, like last generation, that XboxOne could have hardware issues again.
MS as we know is a software company, not a hardware company.
Best to wait 6-9 months and hold off on any XboxOne purchase.

...

KZ Shadow Fall
Extra Controller

And then a bunch of maybes.

I’m getting the Watch Dogs PS4 bundle. Obviously getting Drive Club as a PSN+ member and I’ll also be purchasing Killzone. Nov. 15 is a Friday so I think I’ll have to spring for next day delivery so I get my PS4 in time for the weekend to game.

One more month and counting.

I wonder what they're going to do with Watch Dogs bundles now.

Agreed and the $499 price tag can be a hindrance as can all the bad press it got for months then the 180's(damage done)

UPDATE: Amazon has amended their product page for the PS4 Watch_Dogs launch day pre-order bundle with the following

All orders for the Watch Dogs PlayStation 4 bundle will keep their place in line and we will fulfill the PlayStation 4 (without the Watch Dogs game) in accordance with your current delivery estimate. We are working on adjusting these orders and will update you as soon as we know more.

PS4 Console
Hardened Edition Of Ghosts
Year of PS+

I'll worry about a headset next year, once they get some good ones released.

It sucks that Watch Dogs has been pushed back. But I applaud Ubi’s moxie to do so. As a launch title I think it was a given it would have sold well. But quality seems to be more important to Ubi so I have to respect that. Release the game when its ready.

But this seems to have thrown my Amazon PS4 order into a confusing position. Amazon says they will honor the order but have neglected to say if another game will be bundled in or instead now only receive the PS4. Personally, I’d take Killzone as a replacement game. But as long as I get the PS4 on launch I’ll be happy. I can surely find games at retailers around me.

I tought Ubi were crazy when they revealed they would be competing with themselves with two open-world sandbox-games at launch, AC and Watchdogs.
Still, delay this late is annoying for the people who bought the bundle tough - and has to go through the hassle to make sure they get a decent substitute.
Us regular mortal people, who hadn't preordered any of the two games, will have a easier time buying both these games now.. :)
Just make sure that Watchdogs stays atleast two weeks out of Infamous-launch, wich is another openworld sandbox. :p

So far I only have the console pre-ordered but probably going to pick up NBA 2K14 and PS+ with it.

- Assassin's Creed IV
- Refund on delayed games that were pre-ordered.

Killzone, and probably a cross platform title which I'll also get on X1 for competitive analysis...

Probably just AC4 as a buy, and enjoy me some free Resogun. Will also try out any ftp's available.

I was looking forward to Watch Dogs and PS+ Drive Club. Now I'm not sure if I should add NBA 2K14 or Need for Speed Rivals for variety. I think I need to hold off and see how the other launch window titles look when more information is available and stick with my current list:
Killzone SF
Battlefield 4
AC 4
PS+ Resogun & Contrast
F2P offerings

It's disappointing not having a new IP offered at retail that I'm interested in (I'm not at all interested in Knack).

Killzone

I'm also very interested in Planetside 2, but there doesn't seem to be much info on when the game will be ready.

As for multiplatform games...I think I'm going to buy most of them for the Xbox One due to my preference of Xbox Live, though that could change if/when PS4 games start to play/look better than their One counterparts.

So it's just down to Guerilla to carry the torch for AAA launch exclusives now? No pressure!
