We'll see, of course it's all just speculation right now but I honestly don't hear anyone hyping up Halo other than people here and even then it's not that much. I don't think it really is tied so much to the MP anymore but just people kind of moving away from it.

Theres no way to measure hype back then versus now, that's purely speculation, you could use preorders, but even that's a stretch.

If 343 nails what they did with Warzone then Halo 5 could be back in a huge way. It might reinvent what people expect in Halo multiplayer. Then add in free DLC and Halo could very well be back. Will it be a cultural touchstone again? Probably not as those heights involve time and place. It's still the biggest first party game of them all though.

Yes, but, a whole LOT more.

Kinda of a little destiny-like too thrown in with the AI bosses. I think the biggest difference though to what people are saying is unlike TF, the AI is competent.

One thing I cant understand: why is it that Sony can fund games like SF and thats okay. But if MS funds TR then thats gotta go multi plat or its a big mistake? If Sony sales were the much of a big deal, the agreement wouldntve been made to begin with. We see how that turned out.

This is a complete guess, and how I feel personally, but I think it's ok if X game wouldn't be made without Y company pitching in. I have no idea regardless on how Street Fighter or Tomb Raider happened. Just my feelings.
