I’m glad you waited. It was a bit of a trainwreck when it released, but after all the patches it plays really well now. Great as a co-op game too.

They finally had the Season Pass on sale, and if you like the game I highly recommend it. Well worth it for the sale price.
 
You guys have me tempted to grab Ghost Recon as well. I used to really enjoy the franchise on the OG Xbox. My hesitation is a combo of an already out of control backlog and PUBG in a few weeks. Is there a place in my life for both PUBG and GH?
 
I will be getting PUBG as well. With Wildlands I was concerned the co-op component was best served with friends vs. AI buddies. Maybe it is, but I’m having fun solo and I bet if you play with real people it’s guns blazing all the time vs thinking out encounters. I haven’t even dug into the recently introduced Ghost War multiplayer yet. I guess i know why it sold so well.

I have read some great reviews on it including my favorite review site Eurogamer. They praised it and I was sold. $14.99 and I already played it for two hours last night. It's super fun.
 
In addition to all the digital games I bought, I lost self control and picked up Wolfenstein 2 and the double pack of New Order/Old Blood. Never finished New Order on PS4, I assume it’s more stable on the X now since it had dynamic resolution.

Not a very gaming focused Black Friday for me:
Grabbed a North Face sweater for myself for 25% off
A North Face jacket for my brother and fleece for his girlfriend since they're going on a trip to Colorado soon

I thought about picking up The Fractured But Whole but $30 is about $5 too much for me at this point. I spent a good amount the last couple weeks. I managed to save A LOT of money this year overall, but I was a little careless with my new monitor and Xbox One X.

If a $15-$20 game catches my eye, I might bite.

Small annoyances really, and there's so much else in Super Lucky's Tale that is cheerful, generous and designed to evoke delight. I suspect the curse of Lucky may mean that we're unlikely to get the sequel that is left dangling when the adventure concludes, but for now we have this game, anyway: a completely unexpected treat that brightened the best part of a week as I bounced through it with a huge smile on my face.

lol at anyone that uses games reviews as their decision to purchase a game.
 
It’s genre for me. I will like games that will be regarded as marginal if they are up my alley. Meanwhile I have never liked the GTA games and those tend to be defining games of the generation by most and review phenomenally.
 
Picked up CoD4 remaster and dying light the following enhanced for 20. Thank you bing credit haha.

Edit: I see that CoD4 is still just made up of corner camping douches,

Yeah the bottom line is the game is better than the last one and offers more content and is just fun. It also looks great on both the One X and Pro, I finally checked out the Pro version the other day after playing the One X version since before launch. It looks awesome on both platforms so there is no reason to hesitate on getting the game no matter which console you have.
