I'd wait for Scorpio unless you have $300 to blow. Of course you could probably sell it next fall and get yourself $100 back, but still I'd just wait.

4 years sound right. After 3 years they will release a Scorpio slim model with slightly improved specs. And a new much faster 'scorpio' model the year after.
Same time they will stop producing orig Xbox One. At that time it will be 8 year and it will be time to stop writing games for the old hardware too.

I'm not arguing with myself over it and i definitely don't need it. I don't even have a 4k TV yet. I just want it. I mean, it's one of the best looking consoles i've ever seen. Just look at it.

We did a lot of soul searching. We knew we wanted to get it into your hands as soon as possible. We knew the game was there, and we’re super proud of it, but we also knew it needed more time to make sure it lives up to our studio’s standards, and the quality that you expect from our games. From the very beginning, BELOW has been our most ambitious undertaking, and we’re just not quite done excavating its depths, or polishing all of its facets.
Instead of giving you a new, loose release window, we will be going dark while we take the time that we need to complete BELOW without compromise. The next time you see a majorBELOW update, that means our game has a firm release date, which we’ll share.
Making games is hard but rewarding work. Accepting, even after this long development, that the game needs more time is difficult, but it’s important that we are honest with ourselves as creators, and with you, the players.
We’re sorry we let you down with yet another delay. But in the end, we need to make certain that the hard work we’ve put into this game turns into something you’ll love, and to us that unfortunately means keeping BELOW in the oven a while longer, until it truly is ready.

pre ordered the Xbox One S + FIFA 17 deal for £250. I know i dont need it... i dont even have a 4K TV, but the no brick and 0-5% performance boost is enough for me to be a sucker
the way i make my self feel better about it is.. i am gonna get FIFA 17 digital anyway (thats £50), i would have gotten the new controllers eventually for the Bluetooth connection to my PC (another £50).. so really console is only £150 right

Xbox is doing a great job with games. Gears, Recore, Forza Horizon & Dead Rising are all calling me to play them. And there is a fantastic looking space game coming to the Preview program on 9/14…its called Everspace.

I'll predict Cuphead 2017, Below is vapourware.
Cuphead has the style, but it may turn out to be a bland shooter. Watching vids, the platforming levels look drab and the 3-4 boss fights to be great looking, but easy. But who knows what difficulty level everyone has been playing it.
Like any old school shooter, if you don't beat the boss on the first try, all you do is remember the pattern and assuming you have half decent skills, you should be able to beat the boss on maybe the third try. Then you'll never die again.
So if the game has let's say 15 bosses with some short platforming in between, I see a gamer with decent side shooter skills beating the game in maybe 2 hrs.
They finally added one of the most useful features for me and shows you which games need updating etc. Matter in fact the whole games/apps pin is much better and it even gives me the option of downloading EA vault games in my ready to install tab which is really handy so I don't have to go into Ea access.
I have a white icon pandora app on my Xbox One installed. It says "Pandora" on the icon. There is a "ready to install" icon called Pandora and the icon is blue and has the letter P in the icon, and that one won't install...whatever it is. I deleted my WHITE icon Pandora app to see if it would install the blue one, but no dice. Just ready to install no matter how many times I try to install it.
Wait....there is another pandora app? Is that the one suppose to be the playing in the background app?
