Really? lolz. Everything I stated there is a fact. You might be silly enough to think that no slipstreaming is good, or destruction derby racing is good, but they aren't, obviously. There is a reason why so few people do Rivals mode. There is a reason why the community was in uproar over the no class specific hoppers.

Ignorance isn't working for you, or for T10. They continue to stagnate while the competition progresses.

I agree that T10, like most Microsoft studios with established franchises, needs to do a better job evolving their franchises. That said, no matter how strong your opinions and regardless of who agrees with those opinions, they are still opinions. Your statements being opinions, ironically, is a fact.

Sorry I couldn’t let that go. Lol

So what listed isn't true? Everythiing stated is in fact a regression and huge points of complaints from the community.

I don't know what to say, you're wrong and prob will never admit this to your inner being. There's hope though, I've seen people do different things to get better, yoga being one but there's lots other too.

Not wrong at all.

Maybe you should try yoga.

Microsoft’s new Xbox Live avatars detailed in leaked video

Microsoft has been working on its new Xbox Live avatars for at least a year, and a newly leaked video provides a much closer look at the refreshed system. Forum users at ResetEradiscovered that a former Microsoft designer uploaded a video to YouTube (now removed) showing how the new Xbox Avatar Editor works. The new avatars will let you fully customize your online character with new body type options, clothing, and props. Microsoft’s editor will run across both Xbox One and Windows 10.

Microsoft is offering a variety of diverse options for avatar customization, and the company’s original E3 trailer promised options for amputees, playful costumes, wheelchairs, skateboards, and motorbikes. The Xbox Avatar Editor itself lets you customize body, face, hair, makeup, limbs, and even fingernails. All the options include color pickers, and the ability to buy additional items from an avatar store. Microsoft won’t be supporting items from existing avatars, as the company has built this new avatar system in the Unity engine. You will be able to import your existing avatar into the new system, though.

Microsoft is planning to integrate its Xbox Live avatars directly into the Xbox One dashboard, and launch a separate store open to third-party developers. The software maker is now planning to preview these avatars to testers this month, after hitting several delays. The new avatars were originally planned for release last fall, but Microsoft delayed the launch to improve the system.

Anyone know this fellow? Xbox Addict, AKA Matt?

I saw this over at Resetera and was touched.

"Sadly, Addict passed away this week. He was an incredibly positive person in the Xbox community and I never saw one negative thing come from him. It was genuinely soul-crushing to hear the news and I got a tad choked up despite not really knowing him outside of some Twitter interactions.

"With this news, Xbox community members including Phil Spencer himself changed their profile pictures to Addict's as a tribute to their fallen comrade. Many other MS employees reached out to his family to express their sadness and well wishes for the family after hearing the news themselves. It's an incredible sight to see his picture popping up all across Twitter despite it being bittersweet."

Never heard of them, but sad to hear.

Every day I type in Xbox in google search to get the lastest news. For the past two days, this has been the first hit on the top of the page:

Exactly! both are just making old franchises, which is the problem with MS.

Personally i'd rather have new gameplay loops, like Forza Horizon. The games couldn't be more different so is it really a big a deal that they share a single word in the title? Not me. Might as well be Mario Odyssey and Mario Tennis.

They could spin Horizon 4 off at this point as just Horizon: Tokyo Drift and nothing would be gained. Wouldn't really be a new IP...arguably you're dividing up brand recognition as well.

See that's the issue either way, either MS is sitting on lots of IP that don't get used (How dare you kill MOBA Fable!) or criticized for still making them (How dare you make a new Fable instead of a new IP!)

My point was that under Don there was a drive to build new studios and under Phil the drive to acquire new ones.

Sooner or later they'll build a new studio again (or double the capabilities of existing ones) or Phil will take fancy to some new massive GAAS and buy them out.

So... Be honest now my sceptical forum friends, would you be bitter or give cred to games from EA or valve if Microsoft buys those developers/publishers?

I wouldn't care one way or the other, so long as current multiplatform games stay that way.

No, it isn't a big deal at all. Horizon is nothing like Forza and IMO is a new IP despite the marketing name.

Same as I would be perfectly happy if Perfect Dark was a battle royale game, or if Fable reboot was a full on fantasy RPG. The naming of the games is irrelevant if they are big departures.

My point was that your point is meaningless if all these studios do id the same old stuff. The criticism is they have nothing new...which is pretty much impossible to disagree with.
