Maybe this model...
I have a great TV, the game it's self is what's not looking so good. Believe me I have plenty of games that look great but this is a 900p game that came out in 2013, it's not going to hold up well on a 4K tv compared to something that came out in the last few years and runs at a much higher native resolution and is probably using improved tools and enhanced techniques over what was available back when this game was made. I still think some of you are basing your thoughts on what you felt when this game came out vs how it looks compared to newer games today.
I haven't played it recently. I may have to get it and see how it looks upscaled.
Might be something wrong with TV.It was only $10 the other day that's the only reason I bought it and I've only played a few chapters so far so my impressions are based only on up to the point of the beach raid section. I can see why people would have been impressed at launch compared to last gen games or even X1 exclusive launch games but we've had so many better looking games that are not only larger in scale but also run at higher resolutions that it just doesn't stand out today IMO.
He's not wrong in that it has lost it's luster because we have been exposed to a bevy of titles that are more complex and at least as visually impressive. The 900p resolution doesn't look that great on a 4k TV. That said, it still incorporates rendering techniques that rival the best lookers today, imo.Might be something wrong with TV.
I suggest you unplug your TV from the power outlet for 34 seconds then replug it and see if issue is solved. Good luck!
I played Ryse on my Xbox One S (up-scaled on my 4K TV) in February of last year, and based on my experience it is easily in the top 10 for lookers. I think that has a lot to do with being so linear. I have not played it on my Xbox One X. "IMO"He's not wrong in that it has lost it's luster because we have been exposed to a bevy of titles that are more complex and at least as visually impressive. The resolution really does take a lot of punch out of the visuals. I'm waaay too used to playing at higher resolutions now for it not to look blurry. Try it on the X, man. Especially after playing something like Ass Creed Origins or Far Cry 5. Resolution increases also add color depth and all by itself can massively elevate a games existing graphics. I think if they released a 4k patch for it, it would be right back near the top.I played Ryse on my Xbox One S (up-scaled on my 4K TV) in February of last year, and based on my experience it is easily in the top 10 for lookers. If TV is great model, I think you can't go wrong with at least trying to fix the problem you're experiencing. Unplug and get back to us, good luck!LOL Nothing wrong with the TV, it's the game, it's not a bad looking game but it's also not top tier anymore either.
Think we'll get an XBOX One S/Odyssey bundle? Or would that have been announced by now?
I prefer to dream of a BotW port to the One XZelda X Fable confirmed!
Or Nintendo buyout
