That was one of the most impressive pieces of tech display I've seen in a very long time. I'm thoroughly impressed. If this was ready back at E3 it would have brought the house down.

I didn't watch the video (I've been avoiding UI videos so I will be blown away first time inuse it on my own console) but the article was awesome and has me so pumped for these features. I have been finding myself in a lot lf situations where these features will come on handy (just yesterday I said "Xbox record that!" while playing a game of halo 4 online). This next Gen is going to be awesome!
I was just saying the same thing. When you see the Kinect workingllike that it shows you how badly they messed up at E3
The whole video was sexy. Didn't know the kinect could actually track you around the whole room in that fashion. I expect some really cool games for it. Also: is it me or does Marc Whitten look like the kind of guy you'd like have a drink with? Man seems so friggin friendly.

While it doesn't change my want for the PS4, it took a purchase i thought i could wait on (X1) and hype me thru the ceiling. So how do you tell your wife you want to spend another $500 right now to play many the same games on both systems

I'm wondering if that's why MS waited so long to show this... It's too late to copy it anytime soon. Maybe if it had been show at E3 Sony would have tried to somehow mimic it? Although without a camera it would be difficult....
Pretty amazing stuff though. People will have this in their houses just in time for Thanksgiving, and once people see it there will be a mad rush.....Hell, even Grandpa Bill can get in on this
Anyone notice the sparkle in Whitten's eyes when Yusuf is talking and getting the voice commands to work? His eyes are like, "we got this s*** in the bag!".
Great demo! Not understanding some of the comments, however. This is pretty similar to the Xbox One reveal (which impressed me by the way) but a bit more detailed of course.
Well, I think people analized the E3 stuff and noticed it was faked? Then you have people saying it was insanely glitchy. It is just nice to get a hands on vid that many wanted. It's also a nice refresher. We have all seen Killer Instinct vids but seeing a new one is always great. This is launch month baby. Let us get hyped! lol

I'm curious about how him bringing up both hands caused Kinect to throw navigation up on the screen (on accident, shortly through the Skype demo.)

THIS video outlines the key "cool" thing that takes the X1 over PS4 IMHO.. and why I'm buying it first...
The tracking in Skype during the call from side to side - simply awesome....
Once this starts to come out via word of mouth to the average consumer on the overall integration and people start to see how well it works together, along with a killer title like titanfall and others - all this hoopla over resolution and power will be a faint memory on the forums....
Super excited about the overall package being delivered here...

I noticed that too. I wonder what was going to happen. Swipe side to side like iOS? He put his hands down real quick. lol
If you remember back to the reveal; you could make a grabbing (closing) gesture with both hands and it would take you back home instantly, or take you back to your movie (or game, TV etc...) by grabbing and stretching your hands outwardly. Its pretty cool!
That worked just as well as anyone could have imagined it would and honestly this type of functionality is what sold me on Kinect and made the extra price of entry justifiable. I don't know how anyone could watch this clip and not be impressed.
