[Xbox One] Battlefield 4 = Constantly Crashing horrible Online.......

In a way i'm sad I don't have a next gen console and in another way i'm not. I wanted one just for this game. a shame this is the route the game took. Oh well!

One day developers will treat the people who are putting food on their tables better.

This game made me bend my day one pad so much i snapped the circuit board inside.
 
So, we know how broken the game is, but what about stupid design flaws.

For instance, I prefer to play hardcore servers. In previous battlefields you only had a compass on your hud and had to hit the start button to see a map.

In bf4, no compass at all and no map unless you are dead. Stupid design imo. I mean when somebody marks an enemy the game says enemy sniper or tank or whatever in the east. How the hell do you know which way is east. It's stupid.

im pretty sure if you hold the menu button in to bring up the scoreboard and then press one of the bumpers it shows you a detailed map may not be too easy to get to but its there. also you can use a second screen like a phone or tablet for the battle map if you want.

no idea about the compass thing but doesnt it put a red marker on the person whos been marked so they are not that hard to miss.
 
Glad they got the servers finally sorted out. Jesus age Christ on a Popsicle stick. Queues are working and Quick Match as working. I wish they would have beta tested this s*** properly.

Made for a GREAT weekend of gaming on BF4 that is for sure. Love this game.

I just like how the new patch notes they put out for PC hardly fix anything that really needs fixed. DICE finally got back in their offices then they are like, "Huge patch incoming!" then after all this time the new patch doesn't even fix any of the major things, maybe a couple. lol.
 
Should i pull the trigger on Battlefield 4 now that the patch is out? Did it really fix anything?

I haven't had any issues with BF4 since patch came out in late dec I think. latest patch I think was more of a bug patch but it seems some people did still have issues even after the late dec patch but its been smooth for me.

I beat the single player in one sitting though because of losing your save bug, no idea if they fixed that yet though but I did notice my single player disappearing after I beat it in one sitting back in december.

east is shown on on your minimap.your commander call out orders throught. Its easy yo????

Yeah. Its definitely improved since the last patch. I'm having practically no issues now
 
Played a good 2 or 3 hours of the SP yesterday after the patch.....went to resume it just now, back at the start again....fook you DICE......fook you
 
I've been BF for a while and looks like they have fixed most of the issue. Occasionally a it goes back to dash but much better. Really enjoying the BF experience - COD what COD? I have seen the light. ;)

Even though this guy gets a little nit-picky & whiny about a couple of points, he's spot on with others, pretty good video on half the things he talks about:



...interesting realizing the one thing about being revived & how your reticule is stuck wide open like you're suppressed after that. Huge glitch in the game!
 
How come no one uses mics anymore on xbox live? I have joined countless games with ppl with no mic icons/with the icon and yet no one ever talks...what the hell has happened to online gaming ?!
 
what happened is after countless encounters with idiots, racists, dumb little kids people are not bothering
 
Mostly because people play together in Party Chats? That was one of my favorite things about Halo 2 & CoD 4 back in the day. Party Chats weren't around yet so everybody talked smack in the lobbies, it was really fun.
 
yeah i feel party chat kind of wrecked online, sure its great when u got friends and such, but when most of your friends have not adopted the xbone or the BF series for that matter it makes it meh...with a game created around teamwork and working together towards objectives it baffles me how so many people play alone, it makes me feel like i am playing with/against bots most of the time

100% Honest when I first played Xbox Online with Headset it was cool, then I turned it off once so I can focus and never used it again. I really do not like the headset or anyone who uses them, I mute all voices. We know what we need to do and that's that.

Main reason why I liked PS3 as hardly anyone had headsets. Nothing more annoying than some kid coughing, putting songs,, screaming, etc. Headsets honestly will never work due to how childish people are.

See, I hear people with headsets on all the time.....but not in Battlefield.
 
Because Battlefield automatically starts a Game Party for you every game you play, so most people turn that on. Also, go into your audio options & check to see if "Squad VOIP" is on. You have to have that on to hear people in BF4 & you only hear your own Squad.

I hate hearing other people in game for the most part. For instance, the other night.. a dude was giving me s*** for being a sniper on a map because I was hanging back from the main conflict and taking long range shots. WTF? Really? What does this brilliant military strategist think snipers are good for? He obviously plays COD too much if he thinks snipers are run and gun.

I can't stand people who attack and criticize online during matches. f*** them, and anyone else, I will just mute if possible.

Unless you had 20+ kills with few deaths then I can see his frustration. I'm not one to tell people how to play but majority of the time Snipers are the most useless guys in the game. Camping and the largest points of the map while their team is getting ran through..

Just my two cents bro

ya know, if there was some sort of "reward" for being the winning team, fine. This however, was a 32 vs 32 match, and I am not a run and gunner. Nothing is at stake, and this is my playing style. No one should be self righteous enough to demand I play a certain way.

I see what you are saying as well, but people need to understand, not all BF or COD players are diehard team victory people, some play it for their own fun and amusement :)

now multiplayer is fixed maybe they can finally do something about the major issue with saved single player games 5 times i have been through the campaign to complete over 3/4 of it to have the game lose all my save data fed up of starting again.

why is it so difficult to keep your progress this happened again last night even though dice claimed it was fixed.

you get more points for being the winning team and your stats look better thats the reward. i dont hate snipers as such and belive they can be intregral part of the team if they are spotting and planting radio beacons in useful places. but if you are going to steal the helicopter jump out and land on the highest building in the map and not contribute to the team and my team loses your kinda asking to be abused.

BF4 is not a lone wolf game and shouldnt be played like one especially objective game types if your in team deathmatch then its ok to play like that any other time its not
 
The latest patch has removed sound from the game for me for the entire first map I play. It only fixes itself once a new map rotation hits. Game is a complete disaster and I will not buy another DICE game and am considering not getting any more EA games. The sucky thing about that is they are the only ones making NHL games now. :(
