Again what issues? Never had to enable voice after the update, even my wife has never had to enable voice on her X1. I've had zero issues since the update with the party system. It should have been like that from the start, but at least its fixed.

A sony universal remote doesnt control my X1, as well as my other devices. Just curious, how much support does the ps4 have for tablets and smartphones? Face it, the X1 offers more functionality than the ps4. Its a fact.A Sony universal remotes costs roughly 20$ at Amazon. Can control your entire entertainment system. Pretty competitive compared to the 400$ universal remote Xbox One is..
As for video-editing software, Sony have several offerings, I think Sony's Vegas Pro is probably the most popular video editing software for Windows, beeing shipped with capture cards. We got both both Ustream and Twitch on PS4 at launch.. :-)

Uhhh... I'm being deadly serious here, it does not work the way you're saying post update. Have you checked your settings? Not that I had to change mine, but it has worked 100% like I said since the update.
I dont think he owns an x1, because it doesnt work the way he described any more. Party chat is automatic now.
I've seen him online, I think he either has a genuine unique issue or maybe screwed up settings.
Please explain how Flynns presence adds anything to these forums more then others. It isn't like he gives out usefull inside info or answers questions like devs and employees on other forums do. Again this isn't a attack on Flynn just how I see it.
On other forums they were the same way, test the waters, get into jabs, ... maybe you don't remember it well but I distinctly remember a certain Bungie and Epic employee giving many a******s the bidness on TXB. Borderline ass hattery, but it was entertaining and it also made our areas different. Just like Union can be different, if you a******s (not you particularly Hazard <3 ) would just ease it up and realize it as conversation. People make outlandish claims or statements based on their personal feelings more often than providing proof and he isn't the only one. All I'm saying is, there has already been 1 that refuses to even post here, try not running them away.

Your right Cool, they clearly stated after the update that voice chat is on automatically and if you for some reason don't want it on automatically, go to your settings to turn it off. Works for me!!
My guess would be either NAT issues causing this... forward them ports. Or maybe the settings need to be changed. From what squiggs said it sounds like the former. It could also be your router, or wifi connection. Weird.
Also, the second point you made about it not working like 360, I wouldn't call that busted either, j it just works differently. There is certainly a lot of functionality here that 360 never had from the changes in how apps behave now, which I think is your actual gripe.

Ok, so I agree....both were missing stuff. But the X1 was missing much more stuff in my experience. It seemed like the PS4 dashboard was ready to roll with a few quirks. The Xbox One dashboard/features felt rushed to me at release. With all the new updates as of two days ago when I received the latest preview build, it finally seems solid and feature rich (like the 360 was). There is still more work to be done though.
Party chat works great here since the update, with the party chat enabled as it should be. Is it possible to "reformat" an Xbox One. You certainly shouldn't have those issues (and of course you certainly shouldn't have to reformat your Xbox One). Or is there a way to delete the dashboard updates and get prompted to download it and install it again?
Party chat has been a savior and solid since they fixed it for anyone I have been with.

Saying it's worse is a perfectly acceptable opinion/critcism, I think the opposite because I enjoy the new functionality it brings.. but to say it's busted is wildly inaccurate.
Also, I was at my friends house and went to play his PS4 and the auto-updates weren't working, I had to do it manually (which looks exactly how PS3 did it funny enough), but me saying it's a busted would be wrong because I know it works for others and what happened to him is a fringe issue. Same difference, you can't be surprised people would wonder if you own the console when you state stuff like that as a fact instead of mentioning its your own personal issue.

My harmony remote turns on my X1 along with my AV stuff and thats all I need it to do. And do add to your post, SmartGlass is pretty much why the X1 has a better feature set then the Ps4. I played 5 player PvZ GW Garden Ops/Horde mode, which is only 4 players. My wife connected via SmartGlass and was able to play/help.
You can dl the playstation app on your smartphones to control, manage and message friends, compare trophies, watch live from playstation stream, add and download games, use as second screen. Also vita remote play is another function where you can play ps4 games on your vita. Can any device play your Xbox one games? Don't think so. And did the Xbox one get a screenshot feature yet, click and it uploads automatically to your FB or twitter or do you still need to access your videos and then screenshot that way on your PC?
Point is, there are differing functions among the systems. Arguing how one has more is dumb, everyone has different preferences on which ones are useful to them.
It doesn't need to. It's just as convenient to use the remote or controller.
Sony is getting a media video editor and talks about 720p streams, also preloading games in their next update. When ps4 owners do get preloading and Xbox one owners don't, is it your turn to "lose"?
No one is losing, lol. People are still having fun. These features just help but aren't deal breakers by any means.

It's just that they launched with all that stuff early on - instead of not having the services available at all like X1 did.
Now when 3 months later when X1 got these things, they've allready seen what's on PS4, and added smope upgrades like 720p stream-resolution, instead of 590p wich will also be patched in on PS4 during next update. And we'll also get a better video-editor wich also got more features.
The conclusion on this forum - is that Sony can't match Microsoft on software - despite beeing a few months earlier out with the services, wich is ridickolous.. :-/ It's just that the companies don't put out their features at the same time, and they watch and try to one-up eachother.. :-/

You could not merge together many different clips, etc or add narration after recording, add pictures, second layers, etc. That's what's coming in the new upcoming patch, we'll get alot of other new features, including easy export to USB and similar, to make it more convenient to publish to youtube and other services not supported by the share-featureset.
Alot of people also makes a big deal that you can talk to your xbox one - you can control most of your Playstation with voice aswell, both with the microphone and camera. It's alot more accurate, with understanding you, for example in regards to game selection, you can say 'Playstation Killzone' and you're golden, you do not have to say 'xbox go to forza motorsport five' like you have to on xbone.. .:-/

I warned him once. His posts don't get reported. Yours do. Nobody else has posts reported. Yoyos posts rarely get reported by the Xbox fans of the site. He doesn't constantly blatantly go out and call everybody a fanboy.
