Please share with us some images that showcase your favourite videogame character designs! I'm speaking strictly from a visual/aesthetic standpoint, disregarding personality traits, which characters have always appealed to you simply because they LOOKED cool/funny/awesome?

They don't have to be only main characters or heroes either; supporting characters and/or enemies, bosses, and villains are welcome too, from the mega-popular to the hyper-obscure!

Let's try to stick to images of OFFICIAL art/renders/in-game shots (rather than 'fan art' and such).

Nice one, coincidentally I just started playing Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain yesterday, for the first time. Always wanted to check out the series. Definitely looking forward to Soul Reaver.

Yeah, lol. He was awesome though. One of the most memorable characters in a game for me. He says "What the hell?" in like every cutscene and if you've ever played a Silent Hill game that's pretty much all you can say to yourself.

 
Epic do have some top tier character designer & modelers.

No worries mate, feel free to include those in here. I tried to make it clear in the second paragraph of the OP that it's acceptable to post any and all types of videogame characters with great visual design...

Some guys have already posted classics like Pyramid Head, the Big Daddy, and Lilith, the menacing Locust Horde, and even the uncommon Tower Knight. Here's another one of my favs:

Hahah, the names are super damn close so you are forgiven, but I just wanted to clarify, that's actually DarkSTALKers :tounge: Good choice, that game has some great characters. One could just as easily go with Darksiders though anyways. I've always thought that game had awesome art, and War looks badass.

Haha and I should of knew better being a long time fan since buying the Saturn imported games.
