Did any of you guys ever play Day of the Tentacle? It was an old PC game, and every scene was filled with obscene amounts of charm and character!
As was Argonaughts, but to a lesser extent.
oh, and Monkey Island, Lechucks revenge had a skull with no body, that kept threatening to kill you! "I shall kill you, and put your head on a pike as I walk through the gates of hell!... Ok, roll through the gates of hell!"

Playing through the second entry of this series right now on PS2. I forgot how great the artwork and characters are. Awesome games too:
