Your jimmies, do they ever get rustled?

What really grinds your gears? What's something that it almost inconsequential but really pisses you off?

I guess one of mine is people who absurdly park over the line in parking lots. When I see that, like a wheel fully into another spot, I want to destroy they car. I want to leave no remnants that a car was there.

Another is people who use their cell phone in a public setting without regard to everyone around them, especially people waiting in line to checkout. Your life isn't that important that you need to be on the phone amongst the public. Do your fellow humans a service and get off the damn phone. Or, at the very least, go away from everyone so you can make the call.

I know, I have a problems.

My workday requires me to be on the phone a lot and because of that I miss quite a few calls and am always checking my messages.

What grinds me like no other are people's poor phone skills and etiquette...

1. Speak your name clearly. It's YOUR name, speak it with the clarity and respect it deserves. So many people mumble or race through it that I have no clue who you are.
2. Yes there is caller ID but I get a ton of calls and can't be tracing the time you called to match your number...speak your number clearly, slowly, and twice with a message you leave.
3. If I call you and leave a message, have the decency to listen to my message before you return my call. Don't just dial the number that comes up on your caller ID.
4. It doesn't hurt to give a quick description of the nature of your call, I can return the call prepared or maybe even have the answer ready. Keep it brief though.

I'm sure there are more, but those cover the main issues I hear daily. I think schools should start giving Etiquette Classes as it doesn't seem parents are teaching their children things like phone skills, parking skills (as noted above), eating skills, supermarket checkout skills, and a host of other daily living exercises that would make the world a more descent place to reside.

I tend to take it really personally when someone says they are going to do something and then don't do it. other than that I try not to care if you cut me off, or double park or just generally act like I have come to expect most people to. I have low expectations so I don't get all worked up.
However, if you promise something and don't deliver than there will be heck fire!

Penis overcompensators in jacked up trucks that have those spotlights for fog lamps and leave them on all the time.

My God yes! Down here in Tucson, Az they pretty much propagate on a daily basis. No end in sight to the menace.
I guess living in a college town is par of course though.

To hipsters I would add....

Wanna be gangster thugs..

People who try to mod station wagons with racing exhaust kits (another rampant Tucson condition)

-people who can't speak english (living so close to the border I guess this is something that comes with the territory..still it is annoying)

These are all petty I know.

People who hold up traffic in a parking lot so they can back into a spot
People who slam on the brakes when they see a cop giving a ticket, he's already busy!!
People who think because they have a stroller that means everyone has to get out of their way
People who let their dogs walk 10 feet ahead of them on a long leash, especially in a crosswalk
People who spend 10 minutes taking selfies with friends so they can pick the one that looks the most spontaneous to put on facebook
Women who put on make up while driving
Having neighbors in a city who think it's ok to have a rooster (yes that has happened to me before lol)

There is a dude on my Facebook, a childhood friend, and I'm not joking, but he has the most perfect (and disturbingly similar) trollface that you could ever imagine. I don't wanna post it up because it's not something I'd do..but seriously. It's basically the same face.

In fact, I might pm you it just so you know I'm not bs'ing.

Ever since this was posted earlier I've been trying to think of something that rustles my jimmies and have not been able to come up with anything. Guess I'm a lover, not a fighter.

First thing that comes to mine is idiots on the road. Sometimes i fantasize about having Magneto's superpower where i can put people back in their place. You think you can cut me off without even using your goddamn signals? F*ck you. Or as$holes that are driving at insane speeds in the fast lane flashing their high beams expecting EVERYBODY to get out of the way..c***$ucker. And what about them douchebags using the emergency lane to get past the traffic..what f*cking etiquette.

In extreme cases i imagine lifting them up in the sky and then let em go. Or make one of the rear tires explode or something...That'd really teach them a lesson. Most probably a permanent one.

Might seem childish. But i need something to calm my nerves so i just fantasize. It does make me feel better.

Are you nervous for any particular reason or are you just talking about when you're driving? And if you're talking about when you're driving, why does it make you nervous?

Runners who run 3-4 abreast in the street on a busy/narrow road. If you "have" to run in the street do it single file.

I'm talking about when I'm driving. As to why it makes me nervous? That's a good question, dude. I think it has a lot of to do with respect, responsibility, patience and in general the way you treat people.

I get pissed when somebody cuts me off because i was that close to being in an accident. I get pissed when people use the emergency lane to skip because it is disrespectful and irresponsible exactly like when somebody cuts a line with basically anything. Plus, it probably causes even more traffic.

It's all about respecting other people in the end. I don't do none of that so i don't want somebody else doing it to me.

Got one:

Every time I go in the gym and the squat racks are taken my jimmies start to move a little bit. Every time I go in the gym and the squat racks are taken by people doing curls, my jimmies are full blown rustled.

Cyclists who think the rules of the road only apply t cars.
Drivers who drive half the allowed speed limit and then have to come to a stop every time they turn a corner. Seriously, I want to s*** all over their lives.

Or road bikers.

Most definitely. Where I live there are bike lanes everywhere and a ton of the bikers ride like dicks, totally disobeying traffics laws. Some of the roads are so narrow, with parked cars, bikers and moving vehicles I'm surprised no ones gotten killed yet.

Do they even f***ing squat?
I often ask them if they even lift bro.

But seriously, even when people are squatting in the squat racks it makes me mad just because I need it. I'm inpatient.
