Your jimmies, do they ever get rustled?

Heck this thread is starting to rustle my jimmies, thinking bout all the stuff that gets me fired up...

I'm talking about when I'm driving. As to why it makes me nervous? That's a good question, dude. I think it has a lot of to do with respect, responsibility, patience and in general the way you treat people.

I get pissed when somebody cuts me off because i was that close to being in an accident. I get pissed when people use the emergency lane to skip because it is disrespectful and irresponsible exactly like when somebody cuts a line with basically anything. Plus, it probably causes even more traffic.

It's all about respecting other people in the end. I don't do none of that so i don't want somebody else doing it to me.

Fair enough. Makes sense if that's how you feel.

How about some forum jimmies rustlers?

1. People who will NEVER admit they were wrong about something even when facts are right in their face proving otherwise.
2. People who REQUIRE they have the last word on something (delightful when you get a couple like this in a thread).
3. People who continually RELY on anecdotal evidence as the basis for the argument (like their view on a game represents millions or their store stock represents the entire country)

...I could go on....:D

Self entitled pedestrians who feel like just because they have the right of way that they "should" just walk out in front of you and make you stop.

People who tailgate you even if you're going the speed limit.

People who are unaware of everything going on around them. Yes, I'm behind, and yes I need to get through.

People asking if you want your milk in a bag. No I want to carry it by the cold handle in my f**cking teeth.

Loud bass in cars.

People on bicycles in the city.

Anything the government does these days...

Police who set up shop in areas where it's hard to control your speed.

People on cell phones in restaurants. Please turn the ring volume louder. My drink is still on the table.

When I say "what" more than once, and they do not expand on what they said to clarify.

Arguing with a religious person who goes back to saying the same thing over and over. Just have faith, or it's in the Bible, or whatever. Get a new argument please.

Old people and technology. For every lesson taught is another lesson forgot.

When computers don't work right when you need to do something important.

Commercials these days.

Fanboys who guard a console with their life no matter what, and of course everything the other console does is wrong. All media is suddenly discredited if not in their favor as well.

Yeah, I have anger issues.

People that cut you off to go slower than what you were traveling, even more infuriating when there is no one behind you. WTF?! You can't just wait the couple seconds till I pass you to pull out?!!!

Nothing really rustles my jimmies. Life's too short to care about the bulls***. If someone or something is bothering me i just cut it out of my life or ignore it. I don't waste my time getting upset about it. Yeah, sometimes you get pissed about little things but if it takes you more than a couple hours to get over it then you need to look at things with a new perspective. Think of all the people that have life tougher than you and you're complaining about stupid s***. That's how i look at it anyway!

GREAT THREAD!!!!!!

I have a few that REALLY grind my gears!

1. When you're driving and you stop to let a car pull out/pass you and they don't say thanks
2. When you let someone cross the road and they don't say thanks!!!!!
3. People using my control pad (xbox not tv remote).
4. People that are in the wrong lane on a roundabout!
5. The old whilst behind the wheel.

Have you ever tried to teach an old person how to use something scary like a DVD player? Or god forbid a smartphone or something...

Computers...."how do I turn this off?"....

I once had an old person down the street ask me to "fix" their TV. You know what was wrong with it? They could see themselves in the screen. I told them not to use such bright lights in the room. I also turned up their brightness to wash it out. I think there should be an age limit on some things. You must be under 60 to buy this device...

I hate going shopping when it's crowded and people walk extremely slow or even stop in front of me. Get your family under control and get the f*** out of my way.
