Just curious what are your guys most memorable gaming experiences on the 360? For me:

- getting completely addicted to Oblivion.
- being shocked at the technology of assassins creed. when that was announced, I was convinced the 360 couldn't run it.
- the Bioshock demo. It took me some time to realize the game had started when you were in the ocean because it looked like a cutscene.
- tomb raider and far cry 3. Two of my absolute favorite games ever.

These are the first to come to mind for me. What about you?

- first time playing Modern warfare. The match was ground war and I was in a full party. It was insane! Full of laughs and what not.

- getting addicted to Oblivion as well

- Popping in The Orange Box

- clearing a whole squad with a mortar strike in BFBC2

- first assassination in AC

- Everything Halo.

I think playing Bioshock for the first time will always be imprinted into my mind. The atmosphere was like nothing I had ever experienced in a game.

Meeting my fiancee playing Gears of War 1 MP, true crazy story!! I might have posted our story on the TeamXBox forums but not sure, it was either there or the Gears forums...Going on 7 yrs now and we have a wonderful 2yr old boy and my daughter loves her more then anything. If you saw us you would never think we meet that way, its absolutely crazy how it happened!!!!

I remember in the OTL way back when there was a a thread about the Xbox being used as a dating tool. It was an OTL classic. Though that thread was mainly for the lulz, it looks like it was actually right.

We definitely were not trying to date people playing Xbox, we are both good looking people and can meet people just fine, I used to be a bouncer in 2 different night clubs for years so dating was never an issue, I had some fun in my younger years but she was the perfect one to settle down with. Like I said it is a crazy but awesome story, to this day we still cant believe it :)

Back on topic, the Gears Series was my favorite for the 360 but I played a lot of great games on that system, this was by far my most played system ever.

Fallout 3, Skyrim, Deadly Premonition, and the Mass Effect series were all very memorable experiences for me.

Probably playing Gears of War for the first time. I knew then, we were finally in the next generation. Sure there were a few games before that game that looked great, but Gears of War at the time took the cake.

I would say the other big memory was the first time I saw the dashboard. It was like nothing I had ever seen before on a console. So many thing you could customize and tweak. It was so cool IMO.

Started with Call of Duty 4. It was the first real shooter I ever played online and I got hooked. That will always be a great memory for me. I remember playing Bog in the campaign in store on a demo unit and bought the game right then and there.

Bioshock, a game I hated at first but have since completed multiple times and got every achievement for it on 360 and every trophy for it on PS3. I hated it at first because it was hard for me, I was new to shooters having only got in to CoD4 around the same time as Bioshock and couldn't grasp the whole plasmid thing. Now it is up there as one of my favorite games of all time. I love the music and setting too.

Fallout 3, another game I hated at first because I thought it was hard. I was never a big RPG fan before playing this and this was the game that opened me to them. I enjoyed the music in this game also. I have also completed this game on both PS3 and Xbox 360 getting all the achievements and trophies on both systems. Not including all the DLC, but most of it on 360.

Those 3 games defined my generation on Xbox 360. There are other games I loved but those 3 are games that I had experiences I doubt I'll ever have again.

Completely agree with the Gears and Fallout posts as well. I didn't get into fallout near as much as Oblivion though.

Another big one for me has to be NBA 2k11. Such a huge step up for basketball games in terms of gameplay, plus the return of Michael Jordan. That was amazing.

Getting home with my 360 and playing Call of Duty 2 for the first time.

Walking out the first time on Fallout 3.

Entire game of Bioshock.

Playing Minecraft, Oblivion, Mass Effect, NBA 2k11, Rainbow Six Vegas, GRAW, COD games, Skyrim, Battlefield Bad Company and 3.

Bioshock. A man chooses.

ME3 - the conclusion of the Quarian/Geth subplot.

Alan Wake - just the whole atmosephere.

Bioshock Infinite: mostly the whole game, but especially the ending sequence.

Several parts of other games/series, especially Assassin's Creed.

I spent mostly on Halo 3/Reach. Holy smurfy. It was amazing at that time. I remember when I first bought Elite Xbox 360, I got two games along with it: Tetris Evolution and Project Gotham Racing III. The graphic was blowing me away, lol. Dang, I want the brand new Project Gotham Racing series!!!

Oblivion. The sheer size of the game and finishing it.

Blue Dragon and its couple of twists near the end.

Tales of Vesperia. Yuri Lowell is one awesome anti-hero

Lost Odyssey. Everything about it: the stories, characters, journey, epic final battle. No other jrpg comes close!

Every Halo game's co-op campaign and fun multiplayer. Playing Big team battle objective games with friends and my cousin on a daily basis. Can't say there's any other franchise that delivered as many epic and fun moments for me.

Gears of War. Co-op story campaign. Don't even need to elaborate.

Streetfighter 4. Streetfighter was back! \o/

Blazblue Calamity trigger + Continuum Shift (Extend). I was hosting lobbies nearly every day. Really fun fighter series!

Alan Wake. The story (still) has me hooked.

Mass Effect series. Awesome story and universe. The feeling that your Shepard is the one and only true Shepard.

Finishing..or rather, surviving Dead Space

You mean other then getting the first RROD? Ok, let me think.

1) Get my 360 & with gears->boot up gears. Now that's why I bought a 360. The visuals were Jaw dropping, & back by good gameplay.

2) I was very sick, but cannot put down Tomb raider 2013. Probably missed a meal or 2. When I finally put the controller down, I realised I had a headache!

3) Plenty of OMG moment when playing Mass effect 1-3. My favorite game series.

4) The endings of Deus Ex :Human evolution. It really have me thinking about humanity future. One of the best game this gen also.

5) Halo:ODST coop was so fun.

6) First encounter with big daddy, slicer, in the first Bioshock.

7) Sniper mission in COD4

 Finally beating the Kraken boss in Witcher 2.

Stepping out into Oblivion for the first time.

Call of Duty 2's campaign on Veteran.

First time playing co-op in Gears. Such a great pure gaming experience.

Coming out of the vault in Fallout 3 for the first time.

Horde mode.

Firefight in ODST.

First time walking into Rapture.

First time in Columbia

The atmosphere and some of the set pieces in Alan Wake -- especially the concert.

Seeing XBLA become what it did and so may of the games on there: Braid, Fez, Geo Wars, Shadow Complex, Castle Crashers. There really are too many to list.

I'm sure I have forgotten a few, it has been a very long generation.

The Ghillie suit mission from CoD4 is one I will probably remember for a very long time.

Almost getting a divorce cause of oblivion

Playing call of duty 2 online for the first time.

Getting my first achievement.

Bioshock. Unbelievable game

Actually trying to collect a gazillion guns in Borderlands

so many good memories, reading some of your comments is making me remember so many great games and moments. I hope the Xbox one does the same

My most memorable moment was playing CoD2 on release day with a bunch of buddies. Played 4 player local split screen instead of going to school in the afternoon (rebels, I know) and it was a blast. And also leaving the sewers in Oblivion was an incredible feeling the first time.

Beating Oblivion, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 1 and 2 were sure fun! Playing 100s of online matches in NHL 09/10 with the guys was great too.

I have a ton. But the best, meeting the crew that became the Gears Crew. Sitting up late night with Aiel in halo wars and Gears...listening to drunk Irishmen, drunk philly natives, drunk brits, and host advantage haha.
