I have 2 periods i won't ever forget. 1st was Lost Planet multiplayer, i was ranked 2nd in the Netherlands and top 10 overall worldwide. I knew the top guys from Japan wich i still have on my friendslist and we all received a faceplate and figurine from Capcom. Forza 2 was also pretty awesome i remenber not playing any other game for about 6 months straight, did over 2000+ races online and won over 1200 of them, after that me and some guys wich are now in VVV started Nastymotorsports and were the first to sell top 10 cars on the marketplace every week. I must say my time on Forza 2 was the best on 360

I got the 360 right in the second year(2007 I think).

I had Dead or Alive 4 which looked great! PDZ was meh and I liked racing so I got PGR3.(I was so hoping for a Rallisport 3....)

The game that floored me was GEARS OF WAR! Man I still have not been as floored as when that game came out. The art direction, design and action movie feel of that game was amazing.

I'm going to mention a 1st party only experience and that was Gears Of War...1st wow this is the next gen looking title and was mad fun in MP.

Completely agree with the Gears and Fallout posts as well. I didn't get into fallout near as much as Oblivion though.

Another big one for me has to be NBA 2k11. Such a huge step up for basketball games in terms of gameplay, plus the return of Michael Jordan. That was amazing.

Ha ha! I just bought NBA 2K11 on Amazon for $3.40! I have played a basketball game in 6 years. I grew up in the Jordan, Magic, and Bird era so I'm really looking forward to it. (That's the golden age of the NBA as far as I'm concerned.)

Razz,

Great thread man. Really liked reading all the posts and flashing back to all the great experiences we all had.

What an awesome run the 360 had! And for people like me who haven't played everything and still have a backlog of games to play the fun isn't over yet.

I won't repeat some of the moments mentioned, I share many.

One that does stick out for me was we were the 1st on our block to have Rock Band with all the instruments...playing through songs all night with my boys and their friends was a magic moment I'll never forget.

Trying MP for my very first time. "teammates" said I was a noob and used me as a distraction. GoW didn't play MP until zombie Easter eggs came out. That was just because I had to.

The most memorable was the first time you land in Mexico in Red Dead Redemption and ride onto the plateau. The music starts playing right on cue and the sky is bright orange with red. It was an amazing cinematic moment in the game.

The next is just Skyrim in general. I found the previous games to be boring but this one actually sucked me in.

4 player Castle Crashers and Left for Dead with my sons, Oblivion and Skyrim are the most played. RDR Still by far my favorite 360 game. Ohh and ranking in the top 100 on Halo Wars ...my god I loved that game.

Getting weened on the 360....seriously. I was 18 when last gen started and now I'm 27...nuts.
That and COD2 was the most memorable because that was the first game I played on my launch 360 and it blew me away.

Hmm.

-The first time I was able to play Online. Ghost Recon was my first online shooter. I was blown away. Fun times.

-COD2.. Wow! at the time there was nothing like it. So intense...I never really got a good feel on it online though but then again I played it online after I was having so much fun with Ghost Recon.

-Fight Night Round 3. As a boxing fan this game blew me away graphically.

-Being able to download E3 videos, demos, and anything surrounding that event a day or a few after E3. It was like having E3 at home. A breath of fresh air. Sure some people would argue that you could do that on the computer but we are talking console wise this was the first time ever.

-Oblivion.. OMG! That blew me away.

-Gears of War... I was blown away with it as well.

I can go on and on but I will leave it alone. The 360 gave me many happy moments.

For me, it was the fun I had playing CoD online with my buddy's. Man we dominated and had FUN. Sadly none of my friends have made the leap to the next gen systems, so I'm stuck playing with randoms on BF4 as CoD is no long worth a damn.
