Yeah I know a studio was created, but Zenimax owns Bethesda, so it's all sort of in the family.

It's a studio that was created for the game basically.. what I meant was I hope they didn't loan/send to many employees over to that division for the game. I know they have a producer/designer who was from the outside but I can't imagine ESO isn't borrowing some devs who could be used for more SP projects.
 
Smart that they are putting out the Xbox One/PS4 one a couple months later. That's awesome actually, hoping some things can be improved right at launch then!
 
I doubt this is the case but I hope ES: O doesn't mean a standard ES game isn't pushed off or languishes in development forever because the MMO game is the focal point.

don't think so!! PC and Mac on same server and PS4 and X1 on their separate ones!
would be nice to get cross platform play re ESO as my son and niece are getting PC versions i think, so would be great to play on X1 alongside them!
i don't know whether or not to wait now, as i will be playing on my mac and don't know if i can wait 2 months lol
 
I got an Invite to the BETA but since it will carry a monthly fee I lost interest. So does anybody want in the BETA ? first come first serve.

Just got another invite from them. They are firing up the game again for the 10th-12th.

Just an fyi for those downloading now....it takes awhile. I downloaded a couple of days ago, and it took quite a few hours to download.
 
I'm not going to even bother trying it.

A full price game and then a quarter of the price again every month.No thanks.

(And by most accounts it's crap anyway)
 
I've played 2 betas - was looking to get a key for a friend who has never been sent one despite being registered a long time.

I enjoyed the 2nd beta much more than the first. Not sure why. Just felt tighter, more Skyrim-like. There are a ton of UI and other updates in this latest beta so curious to try it, for sure.
 
I uninstalled it. The game wasn't fun at all. It'll end up F2P eventually.

I actually liked it. Played the game a bit, until about 30 minutes after getting out of the starter zone. IMO, probably one of the best pay to play games since WoW.

Visually, it looks really good. Not as good as skyrim maxed out on pc, but better than oblivion, and better than skyrim on console.

qbert don't know if you agree but i just tried it ... graphics seem greatly improved as do the animations. seems they changed up the tutorial area a bit as well, made it faster to get through. so far so good.

Yep, looks really good for an mmo.
 
anybody having trouble login in to the server? Not that its a new thing for MMos.

Really wouldn't mind trying it out. But I've heard bad things about it.

That is because the game is no where ready, that is why people was talking bad about it. All MMo go through that phase.
 
They will have other weekends. Supposedly they are doing a lot of stress testing this weekend and doing things like stopping servers etc to see how they recover, so be prepared for outages or other bumps along the way.

I would love for this to be good. However, the early impressions aren't very encouraging. And yeah, the price...
