Most people who buy XBOX 360 also do not have a gold account. The internet game community posters do not represent the majority.People who buy a PS4 don't also get PS+?
This has been known for awhile so this is not that big a deal. If you are the type of person who wants to play a MMO you are probably playing it on a PC.
Not necessary. MMO is intend to play the game for a long time, maybe exclusively, so doesn't sound economically good to pay 2 separate monthly/annual fee if you play mainly one game online. If you are the type of person who wants to play a MMO you are probably the type of person who already has Xbox Live/Playstation Plus.

Also, maybe some people PC is not up to task, PS4 at $399 & free online (to play Elder scroll), & the possibility of maybe some good single player games to take a break from Elder scroll, once in a while, sound like good deal for some people if you ask me.
I am not sure how influence is the game, but its good news for many PS4 owners not intending to get PS+ no matter how you see it. Even if you are not interested, its always good to know when you are, you do not have to pay PS* on top of monthly fee for Elder scroll online.
If the game did sold well, I will not be surprise to see MS allowing xbox silver account holder to play MMO, & maybe future MMOs as well.
Fixed!
Still though that's one thing that annoys me with MS, it's as if they just don't want MMOs on their system.
And the person looking for upgrade is committed to spend hundreds of dollars for a console, but balks at online fee? That seems a like a very narrow category of consumer.
Doesn't seem like much of an issue to me. Why would you buy an Xbox One and not sub to Xbox Live? Maybe if Elder Scrolls Online was an X1 exclusive then it would matter.
It leaves the option open for someone who only plays ESO to not have to also pay for PS+. In the MMO world it is not uncommon for people to play only one game primarily.People who buy a PS4 don't also get PS+?
But there is still a matter of subscription fee. In any case, I do not think they should charge full retail price for MMO.Easy fix, make this the free game of the month.
MMO is not big on console at the moment, this part is true. But the developers must have thought that there is a considerable market for MMO when they decided to make the game on console.Basically what i meant to say is if you're buying a console to only play an MMO you're doing it wrong. That's the whole point of a gaming PC. It's an MMO, RTS, and FPS platform at heart.
While I agree, with the console you get a much better cost/performance ratio. For $400, you will be able to play ESO maxed out, where buying a PC that could do so would cost at least a few hundred more.Basically what i meant to say is if you're buying a console to only play an MMO you're doing it wrong. Before halo, FPS is not big on console as well, but see what happened. I will say, only time will tell.
