True, and at the same time, I've noticed a marked propensity for X1 fans to continually bring up the subject of comparison to the PS4 and Sony. It's like they can't help it, it's almost a compulsion. They complain, they say please let's not have the thread become about the PS4 vs. X1. Yet, often, it's the X1 fans who are introducing PS4 and Sony into the conversation in the first place.
So like I tell the PS4 guys on the other forum, if you want me (us) to keep this thread free of arguments about X1 vs. PS4, then stop putting out the bait and stop bringing up the subject yourself. If you want the thread free of "vs PS4" talk, then stop bringing up the PS4 and Sony.
Ok, that's my little rant for the evening.

Sony fans can't seem to handle themsleves with any little success the company has. A sad sight really. Makes you wonder what these fans would happen if Sony finally went bankrupt.
I'm pretty sure that you are wrong. Most movies are 23.976fps which says ntsc tv can display 1 to 60fps. Also European tvs (pal) are 50fps so for them 60fps will still be displayed at 50.
And only on union can you find people who say that everyone thinks like them. But actually some like consistency vs higher numbers like you

Im not comparing xbox vs ps4, but rather just discussing tombraider on x1, so I dont see what the big deal is bringing that up in this thread where others have questioned why ps4 tombraider is running better. Anyway, you are comparing 29 vs 50fps, I was not. I was comparing the gameplay experience, and while I prefer 60 to 30, I also prefer a locked 30 to a jumpy 40-60. Ps4 version is higher because its unlocked, x1 is capped. Comparing the two directly is pointless for the most part.
And in regards to what I said about polygon scoring the two differently, I read that on neogaf. Never confirmed it, so I wasnt lying like I others implied. I thought it was true.

Killer instinct, BF4, followed by occassional peggle, dead rising, and rivals for me. I have just about every good launch game, and like them all, but these get most my time. Not getting too excited for titanfall, as I want to keep my expectations realistic.

Pretty diverse bunch of games.
Only 6 weeks to that last one. I will likely get my Xbox one the week before.
Can not friggin wait either. Have you sourced your X1 yet? I'd recommend getting it a week or two before Titanfall so you can learn to accept the futility of trying to execute simple tasks on the UI.
Not to sound naive, but I doubt it will take me long to get used to the UI.
No, haven't really sourced it yet, but game is saying there stock is pretty much up to par with demand now. So I shouldn't have issues getting one in 4-5 weeks time.
Been playing KI mostly but i took a break from it to play more DR3. Which i am enjoying a Hell of a lot more than i did the first two games in the series. Also Max: Curse of Brotherhood. I just bought Crimson Dragon last night but i haven't started playing it yet.
Ok good good. Marc Whitten speaks about how its hard to get in a party now, but from what i understand is that its not hard. It's just not possible if someone wants to play BF4 online and is looking for a match and another person is gonna play Ryse online match. They just need to let you stay in a friends party chat. I was hoping for that rumoured graphics update patch too, but nothing like that in the article.

I love the grammer, but English isn't the first language...obviously.Sony had alph and sdk's out 10/14 months before ms ... all these old engine games were port overs from ps4 code. Not one of them have taken advantage of x1 architecture. The reason why x1 has suffered is only due to 3rd part devs not putting there new engines out .. cross platform games. And this also falls on the constraints that publishers have had to face there is 120+ million xbox360 / ps3 and not everybody is jumping straight onto next gen.. the smart studio know that making 360/ps3 games will sell and can fund there next generation games.. like an unofficial kick starter. Turn 10 is the only dev to have hands on the whole evolution of alpha to final sdk. That is why forza 5 is 1080p 60fps. But even they did not make a whole new engine. They were build one next to the dev time spent on forza 5. Forza 6 will be a huge jump over what was at launch. Horizon 2 will use new features .. but pgr should be getting wispers soon...
Also ms has invested a huge investment in epic .. I would diffently call them 1st party now... also black tusk has three projects in development now. So do not think gears is there one sole focus.
Same can be said about 343 and rare has two massive surprises up there sleeve this year and it ant sports
But gears has been in developing stages for well over 10 months now. But nothing is finalised as the "new" engine is getting tweaks to support f-series there will be some hybrid 3rd and fps blending..
And no matter what you hear .. epic's tim was heavily involved in some of Ms x1 architecture features.. He and the crytek crew were constantly involved.. And because of this x1 will really out shine..
e3 will blow peoples minds.. no fog .. and no 720p 30fps.. I cant wait till you see tier2 textures. And the fact its not a performance bottleneck on the system.
If you grew up with xbox .. your going to love what is coming. The worst thing for sony is in the playstation catalogue most the 3rd party games licence have expired so any title can be published on any platform so there in its self is a lot of I.p's hd remake or sequel headed our way.
And w3 is 1080p 30fps on both.. this engine has had tweaks not full hw tho.

Haha yeah true true. Some things do make a lot of sense though, that Sony had alphas an devkits long before MS. But the other stuff...pgr...Rare...yeah...we'll see.
I am VERY f***ing ready for a true platformer from Rare though.

That sounds like an xbox fans wet dream after a night heavy of psychedelics. So while I will take it with a huge grain of salt - about the size of france- I will indulge.
So, PGR coming - I know I just did - is great. Love the series and think it is a great time to bring it back. The talk of new Ip's blowing people away is believable, to a point. I mean, these will be the games that were not rushed, not using old engines, and built specifically for the xbox hardware.
As I said in another thread, " E3 should be great this year."
The first part sounds believeable. Not sure what to think of MS investing in Epic and Black Tusk working on multiple projects.....maybe. But aren't they a rather small team? 343i not only making Halo games sounds like a really good thing,but i highly doubt that. Wasn't it already stated that they ARE doing solely Halo stuff now? No fog and 720p at E3....what does he mean with fog? Either way, no more 720p would be very good, so far that has only been KI and CoD, right?
