Xbox price drop may not be coming soon but Xbox marketshare drop is. If they lose out early as the console gamers associate with then it is over for the mindshare as well
Anybody who is already saying drop the kinect is really short-sighted. Hell not even Kinect Sports Rivals has come out. And it could be a bad sign of course, but with a significant drop on both platform I'd be more careful to interpret it.
Seriously Titanfall won't do shizzle. The effect it will have is as me pissing in a river, i wonder how long it will take me to make it overflow hmmm ...
Titanfall looks like a lot of fun. But the graphics look awful and the bottom line is Titanfall is a 6vs6 MP-only game with bots! People think this will be a system seller? It's not even exclusive. As a PS4 owner, I will be buying it for my PC.
Going by the people I know own an X1, in real life, they're buying more games digitally than physically. Small saple size but on the forums I see people also saying they're buying more digital games than they thought they would.
Titanfall is an Xbox One game not on PS4. It will have an impact. Just like all the games that were on the 360/PC but not on PS3. Check the sales numbers, if it was that easy for people to just buy and play these games on the PC like everyone claims they wouldn't sell better on console at a 3:1 ratio.
Exactly, it's no different than when PS fans were raving about all those PS2 HD ports. If it helps the console sell, it helps the console sell. Actually it's a bit different in that Titanfall isn't just a last gen experience with a new coat of paint. Titanfall is the biggest blockbuster first person shooter we've seen since Call of Duty 4 back in 2007. Underestimating what it will do for the One is foolish.
I read the numbers... then I went back to playing Forza 5 at 1080p/60fps.
Using physical game sales only to extrapolate console sales is pretty silly. Not that it will stop any of you. It seems like a lot of X1 fans like digital downloads (there's irony there)
X1 will NOT see a price drop for years. Just like 360. If Sony sells more units, good for them.

I think March(Titanfall) and April(Kinect Sports Rivals) will put a big boost to Xbox One sales..
Only thing is MS really needs to release system in more countries if they aren't having problems with stock...
Titanfall will be a boost, 360/PC only games if you look at sales. The 360 version outsold PC version 3 to 1. So even though its on PC it should still give it a big boost.
Kinect Sports was a big hit on 360 believe it or not. Rivals looks like huge improvement over the first two and could be a big hit. MS needs to market it good because its a great family game and be first game to take advantage of the new Kinect. MS needs a Dance Central game in the Fall, That game was a huge hit too on 360. Kinect wasn't a failure on 360, it did quite well actually for a add on(Actually holds record for most sales for a add on in history). It just doesn't have any games that use it right now for Xbox One, Kinect just used for the ease use of the menus right now and voice commands. This was a huge flaw with MS not having a big Kinect game for launch. Kinect Sports was suppose to be that game but they had to delay it.
