Not sure if a dumb question. Can't you just preorder at Gamestop or something? I maybe heading down gamestop in the weekend to maybe preorder, in hope I can get one with Thief, & I do not want people to laugh at me.
Not sure you can preorder something that's already out though. If it's a new bundle then I think you can preorder.

I was receiving the blue light, HDMI problem..
MY ps4 was manufactured september 2013 at that same place.
Just keep reloading the PS4 page on Amazon. They had them the other night for a few hours. That's my plan whenever my money comes in.

People saying they are easy to find obviously aren't looking for one or got lucky once and think it's like that everywhere. Cegar said the Gamestops in DC have them sitting there collecting dust so I wanted to see if he was telling the truth since the website said nothing in stock for 100 miles in his area. I called all the 3 stores in DC and the 5 others that show up as the closest stores outside of DC and NONE of them had any in stock and said all they could do was order a bundle for me online if I wanted to come in and pay for it in person. They all said once the consoles come in they are sold within a day so he is either making crap up or going to a gamestop nobody knows about.
Again to the smart asses out there, this doesn't mean that they are impossible to find it just means they go quickly once they come in, it's a lot harder to find a PS4 than it is an X1 there is no argument to be had there. BTW checking that area in DC today shows 3 have low stock and that's all that showed up within 100 miles of DC,, 2 in Maryland and 1 in Delaware, quickly called all 3 and they are all sold out.

I wasted more of my time (I need more to do lol) and called all 3 of those stores, Target and Gamestop are both sold out and Walmart won't answer their phones.The gamestop guy told me (as everyone that I have called does) that I can come in and order and they'll have a bundle shipped to my house, the bundles ship on the 28th at the earliest.
Yeah I was looking in earlyish January around web sites just because of dorky threads like this and there were quite a few PS4's around, which fit my own experience being out and about.
But check the same sites now and they are gone.
Selling only 300k in January means they were most likely supply limited, and it looks even worse for February.
Honestly think Sony should be shipping more to NA.

I checked the areas around me on the Walmart site earlier and only one store within like 50 miles says they have them. I haven't looked often at my own Walmart but i've never seen a PS4 there the handful of times i have. GameStop's here are sold out.
This sucks really, i hope i can find one when the time comes. Screw paying extra and screw waiting an extra week or two to get a PS4.
