After work today I finally broke down and went to my nearest wal mart to talk to a manager just to hear from him.
He informed me that they MIGHT get some near mid to late March possibly April....o_O

Everybody that has a PS4....I officially hate you...

I saw my 1st PS4 on a store shelf last Friday it was in a cage at the front of the store. But yeah Flynn should be able to help you out, he says they are everywhere.
 
PS4 being plentiful is fast becoming like UFO & honest Lawyer. You always heard about them, but you never actually seen one.

Anyway, this weekend, if I am Downtown (maybe I go ski instead), I will ask gamestop when PS4 will be coming (if it has not already).

On a separate note, later, I will go to the car workshop to pick up my car, for damage to my rear bumper (some jerk hit & run), estimated to cost 500€. Imagine if I use this money on a next gen console, use it to get some pheripheyyers (damn this word is hard to spell) for console, or a tablet that I wanted for a while.....
 
Kvally and Ceger say their local stores are all stacked and loaded with them so maybe they can help you.

I don't know if local stores will ship you their inventory or not. Every single time I have been into my local Walmart, Target and Gamestop, they have had inventory in stock. In fact, the Gamestop at East Towne Mall always puts the empty boxes of PS4 (display boxes), with the white tag with black writing that says $399.99 in stock, and they put them into the hall outside the store. I saw the Gametop ones in stock again just this past Friday, Valentines. I was at the mall picking up a couple valentines items for my woman.

The ones I always see in stock when I am there:

Check with Target and ask to speak with electronics. Maybe they can divulge what day they normally get shipments in.

same thing about central IL... I see them fairly often in stock, but recently they have been harder to spot. Our toys r us almost always has one, but walmart and best buy are usually sold out.

Yeah....I've done this....electronics department told me and I quote...

"we've been having back to back calls concerning this item....best bet is to come in on random days to see. Even if I tell you when we get them in I can't guarantee you a console"

it might help, but our Target gets their stock in late tuesday nights... I used to work third shift and would go there when they were unloading to look for new Transformer toys for a collector friend.

it is hard to just supply that many.. you will have people paid to sit on the availability websites and just snatch any consoles that come up.. then you will see them on Ebay for 150-300 dollar markups.

It happened last gen with the two consoles post release. Supply was very limited, but EBay always had them

But srs keep an eye on Amazon. Earlier today it said you could buy one for when they have them in stock on Feb 27 or something. They're gone now but even if they aren't technically in stock you could get your name in the hat for getting one when they finally do get the next shipment.
 
I know here there were stacks of them around mid january, i even posted a link to walmart and there were all 6 stores with them available here in 75 mile radius. I find it hard to believe they are still hard to find, but I guess its different everywhere. I've had mine unopened for over a month until i see if 2014 has anything i really want to play on it besides infamous/PL2, the rest of the lineup looks average at best imo, otherwise I'll sell it and rebuy after a price drop down the road.
