Yeah her rent was insanely cheap, this was a few years ago but it was only like $400 a month for a decent sized apartment ($450 with the view) it would have cost more than double that that to have a comparable sized place here in So Cal

I have my money ready for the PS4 now. Time to play the waiting game. Can't find one anywhere right now.
I never seen them in person at any store I go 2.. Now they might have em in the back so you should ask em if they do.
I am going to the mall this morning, so I will let you know what I see. I will take picture this time if I see them. Then maybe you can call them to see if they ship.
I haven't either. And I go to Bestbuy basically every weekend.
They had 5 Xbox One's on the shelves. Not a PS4 or even a display in site. Plenty of PS cameras available though.
No one in Germany seems to know when PS4 will be available....*Sigh*

There was one Walmart 30 miles away from me that supposedly had PS4s according to the site. Was going to maybe go there to get one but i called and they said they were sold out. 
Are PS4's really that hard to find, or they are never in stock? find it strange that you honestly can't go buy one.
I searched the web, called places, and checked stores around me for a week and couldn't find one. Randomly, last night right before GameStop was closing i checked the site and it said they had PS4 in low stock. I called and they had one left. Had them put it on hold and i picked it up today.
Two weeks before that every store within 50 miles had PS4s in stock. For like.. a few hours. They come and they go. Sony said it'll be like this until at least April. My advice to anyone looking for a PS4 is keep trying.
It's more like you have to be at the right place at the right time because usually when stores get stock, they'll all be sold out in 24 hours or so.
I'm surpisred they held it for you, most stores would not hold a item that is hard to find. Someone walks in, wants a system.. it's better to have it for the people at the store than to hold it for someone that has a possibility of not coming in to get it.
I am surprised they are still selling out, but not during tax time atleast. Should be around a lot more in May I would imagine. That is when NPD will be interesting.
Guess it depends where you live. They are always available here where I live in Wisconsin. But nobody lives here, and I guess many probably can't even afford it, or can't make it through the snow, or are not smart enough to know game consoles exist. They are still out milking cows by hand....
Yeah, Sony themselves said that they are looking at April to be when supply won't be constrained anymore.
Yeah dude....out here in the southwest (L.A., San Diego, Tucson Az, Phoenix,) it is f***ing ridiculous. I have a heavy workweek starting Monday...so I'll try to snag one.

Anyway with poor review score of Thief, there is no urgency to get a PS4.

Killzone 7/10, & I seen the review, no thanks. Resogan heard good things, but I don't buy a console to play an indie game. Don't get me wrong, I do play Indie games, but its not a primary reason to get a console.
Just check outlast, not my type. I am a p****. Guess I can wait a little longer than.
They held the PS4 for me because i came in that night to buy it but there was a problem with my credit card. It's a new card and it got denied for no reason at all. The store was closing so i didn't have time to go back that night. So i just called and they agreed to hold it until the next day for me. What a relief.
That's very different, holding a non- pre order item is not the same as holding one that was. A lot of retail outlets only do preorders for special occasions or times as well.
