I'd like to see developers focus on solid, stable graphics that are going to fool the eyes and mind through a stable frame rate, high resolution and textures appropriate to the resolution.
If that means flat textures without bumps and refractive specularity (yes, I just made that up), that's fine. I'd rather do VR in a crisp, silky smooth Lego world than a photo realistic flip book with rral-time clothing soilage that went blurry when I got close up.
