Are you using the PS4 camera to talk? Because it picks up a lot of noise maybe that's why haha.

Game looks like it'll be a good deal of fun, particularly in co-op. explore, shoot, loot...always been a solid formula.
 
@naty @JinCA @VaLLiancE I can be on at around 3:30pm CDT today if any of you are going to be on. I want to give the game whirl with peeps on my friends list.
 
This has really won me over. It never really impressed me until about a month ago when I saw more recent gameplay footage. It reminds me a lot of Halo, all in good ways. I think it is great that Sony fans can finally play a Bungie game. :) I can hardly wait until September because I know that I will miss the alpha.
I love the single player component, titanfall lost me after a few weeks because it lacked that. I am glad that I came around on this, simply an amazing game. Truth be told, I have missed Bungie.
 
This game just gets it right. As long as there is enough content to sustain it, this should be a huge game this fall and beyond. Still wish there was space combat though.
 
Damn it I guess I didn't check my email at all last night, because when I did so this morning I had a code waiting for me. Downloaded it before I went to work but unfortunately won't be home until after 10PM (I'll be around your stomping grounds @Kvally) but should be able to check it out sometime tomorrow.

after learning the nuances i'm now having a blast. shotgun + jetpack = all kinds of fun. i'm juking people left and right :grin: will upload a few clips later (hopefully they saved..)

biggest downsides so far is 1) vechiles seem unbeatable (im probably missing an element of gameplay or something) 2) IT SHOULD BE 60FPS!
 
The fast hoverbikes and super jumping makes it feel a lot more like Halo. They should have showcased some of that footage because PvP is a lot more dynamic than the trailers show.
 
Guys, remember you can change your weapons, armor, suits, boots etc. as you loot them. I found out at the end of my game session last night, haha.

Having played this for awhile now, I really don't see it being too much like Boderlands. Feels much more like PSO with FPS mechanics.
 
Weird. I never got the email, but I just turned on my PS4 and saw a welcome to the Destiny alpha invite in my notifications and am now downloading.

That actually sounds pretty freaking great. Can't wait to try it out in 30 hours. :laugh:

Yeah, the way the hub world works, how the the side quests are handled, the player interaction and even how the gear is all bring me back to PSO. Of course the actual gameplay is more like Boderlands as they are both first person shooters, but structurally, the game is much more PSo.

Can't wait to try it. That sounds great to me. Between this and No Man's Sky, I'm hoping they both nail that exploring a universe feel.
 
I forgot I had a PS3, someone send me a code. Pretty please.
 
The movement feels alot like halo 4 to me, surprised some posters are raving about it in here now.

Halo don't have ads or double jumps plus the bullet damage is much better in Destiny.

This game is better is better in everyway SO FAR.

To me it feels like a mix of a bunch of games. Borderlands 2, Star Wars, Diablo III, Warframe, Killzone and Halo.
