Someone post a comparison video of bouncing off barriers in Driveclub vs bouncing over hills with 11other players as you race to the next event
My point is that every comparison video is focused on graphics, when the most important part of a game is how fun it is.I don't think it's a good idea to make this thread a driveclub vs FH2.
Let's keep it a FH2 thread, thx in advance

An open world racer is what I'm more interested in, FH2 could be the ugliest game in the world and I'd still have fun with it.
That's pretty much the opposite of me.True, fun is uber important, but a track based racer can be just as fun as an open world racer. In some cases the track based racer can be better, Burnout is a great example of that, IMO. Games like Burnout: revenge were so much more fun than paradise( to me anyway). Even sim based, track based racers can be just as fun as open world arcade racers.
Not to mention that you can not really gauge fun factor by videos. You need to play them, and to compare you need to play both.
How did they an open world racer look so damn good???
New vid. Looks Faboo!
Yeah this actually looks far better than what they showed at E3.this video was amazing!
Did you play Horizon 1 ? was 30FPS and very fun.It does look more fun than other racers I've seen, but that 30fps thing I can't get over. Least its open world and looks like crazy fun.

I really do not understand how 30FPS is such a big deal, and if that is going to stop you playing games then you are going to be missing out on a lot of quality games on current gen consoles.
Forza Horizon 2 is definitely a sweet looking game, and part of the reason for that visual glitz is in a rather new technology named Forward Plus Rendering, as explained today by Creative Director Ralph Fulton during a behind-closed-doors presentation at Gamescom.
According to Fulton Forza Horizon 2 is the first console game to use the tech, which allows it to display thousands of dynamic lights in real time, making the representation of cities like Nice possible.
In addition to this we also learn that the game has seven different radio stations, and over twice as many tracks as those included in the first Forza Horizon.
Finally, Fulton also had words of praise for the Drivatar feature, mentioning that the day in which they turned them on at the studio, racing in the game “completely changed in front of their eyes.”
Im seriously considering getting Forza 5 right now. I want to experience the Drivater stuff. But I usually only buy one driving game and that may sway my decision to get FH2. Dunno yet....Forza Horizon 2′s Forward Plus Rendering Tech Lets it Display Thousands of Dynamic Lights in Real Time

Another positive article regarding Forza Horizon 2 and surprise of all surprises it actually comes from Eurogamer who hasn't found an X1 title they don't bash.

Horizon 2 is the worthy successor to racing greats such as Project Gotham Racing 4, and as it goes against Evolution's DriveClub and Ivory Tower's The Crew, it's hard not to see the Xbox One game emerging at the head of the pack.
