It helps give that sense of speed even at 30fps.

Everything else is great, and yes, the sense of speed looks fantastic... but the trees, they really should be obstacles to give the sense of risk & reward, and to make the going off-road choice a not so obvious and easy route.

I've definitely seen videos where the cars run into objects that stop them. I wonder if there is a setting. I've seen vids where they fly through light poles, and I've seen some where they are stopped completely. I'm pretty sure I remember the hay bales at least slowing the cars.That is like saying you do not mind criminals because it is a imperfect world
Personally, I think they are missing an opportunity with how little the off-roading affects the cars. A Lambo should not be able to fly through a corn field. It could open up fun races where a jeep could race a Lambo. The Lambo is faster but would have to use a longer route because it couldn't take the field. You know, Top Gear style.
Still, maybe that is a setting. You can turn up the simulation handling, so maybe that applies to off-road situations.

Hope so, but doubtful. Could be done for demo purposes, but then that kind of defies the point of the demo. We shall see.

Near the top of the engine range, the large turbo provided plenty of boost to the fuel-injected motor, enough to result in a maximum of almost 170 horsepower at 5,800 RPM. For the early 1970s, in a car weighing a shade under 2,400 lbs., this translated into a quickness that’s tough to understand decades later in the midst of a horsepower bonanza. So that’s the 2002 Turbo’s trade-off: lots and lots of power, if you are patient or skilled enough to let the revs climb. Or simply park it and admire the infamous mirror-imaged “2002 Turbo” script on the huge front air dam, bolt-on fender flares, and iconic tri-color striping. Don’t park it too long though, this BMW is most at home on the track.

Forget the Sistine Chapel, this might be the highest form of Italian art. Without the Lamborghini Miura, the term supercar may never have come to be. In an age when the only race-derived designs came from Ferrari, the Miura showed a new direction. The Miura was conceived and designed by three of Lambo’s top engineers of the time. The result was a car whose form was revolutionary, and whose performance still thrills car lovers today.

Yeah, I want the GTR. It'll probably be DLC. I'm sure we'll at least get the MP4-12C, as it seems to be in all their recent games.
Well Forza generally uses replay footage for advertising which generally adds AA and other effects. Horizon I do not think does this.
We've seen plenty of actual gameplay too, and it looks very clean. I've seen some small artifacts that come with the light simulation, though. I still love it! I'm getting more excited for this game by the day!

This is a good vid. 3d crowds in the beginning. Even with crappy Youtube compression it looks great.
I've also got to express my supreme joy that FH2 doesn't have the same ridiculous music that FM 5 has.
