I'd say all of the reviews that are in the 40-50 range are pretty far out there.
The Gerstmann review was only remarkable because he completely missed the entire point of the gameplay, then complained about the gameplay. Even posted a video of himself playing it while complaining.
Wonder what happened with Forza Horizon 3. Guess they didn't get the memo to knock off some points because it's an Xbox game? Or it just could of been a great game. Not sure.
All those games above were fun, but lacking any sort of real polish or direction. I think the fact that they even scored that well is telling, as some like Halo and Gears have a lot of content. They got that part right, but somewhere along the line they just lost their luster.
Not an Xbox thread, as Quantum Break is a multiplat title also on PC. Which reminds me, can you move the thread to the appropriate section while you're here, Andy?

As stated already by Andy and PV, if the game is on PC and a console and not available on the other console, it goes in the console section.

My bad, guess i missed that. No problem, we need something to talk about in the Xbox section. The One X thread is starting to dry up, so we need to start talking about the games again. Whether exclusive or not.
Just wish we could have a real discussion without people drawing the battle lines. I know some of ya'll would go to bat for Microsoft if someone toilet papered their front lawn but gotdamn, it's just a hobby fellas.
Yeah, I saw quite a few clustered in that range. A fair percentage of reviewers just did not like it much.
I'm just not inclined to think there is a wide-spread reviewer bias against MS -- that all of those reviewers rating it low just did it because they secretly dislike the Xbox and want it to fail. I think there are much simpler and less conspiratorial explanations.

- Positive: 77 out of 106
- Mixed: 25 out of 106
- Negative: 4 out of 106
Why do we allow TD to continue derail threads as he trolls himself? Let him fight with himself. There's no point in debating with him as 50% of his personalities will always agree with you while the other 50% will fight you to the death.
It's not widespread. But Kvally showed you a pattern with a major site. And GB isn't much different than GS in that regard.

Honestly, this thread was for those who appreciated QB - enjoyed the game. Once again, insecure fanboys had to infect the thread. The Fuking s*** is tired as Fuk.
I have to agree. In fact one thread just got closed because of them in the Xbox section.
Kvally left his homework undone. As I said, you'd have to look at Gamespot's pattern of rating PS exclusives, too, in order to rule out that it wasn't just the fact that Gamespot grades games harder in general (vs. just MS games).
GS probably is a little harsher than most in general. I don't really pay much attention to them to be honest.
Lets be honest we all know the MCC got wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too high of a score (that pro xbox bias amirite) but

They've always had that reputation. They've had a lot of staff turnover, though, so I'm not sure whether it's still true or not.
