Ok I'm not even gonna try it till it's the very last game I play on my pro haha that would suck.
I'm out of town so will be starting this game a week after everyone else. Without getting into details, curious how close people think the original spoilers were to the overall game once you've gained more context.
What an albino cuck, he should go watch (listen) to Commando and get some testosterone flowing in his girly body.
They were silencing people talking about spoilers not critics, they have a team of hundreds of people who have spent years working their asses off and some jerk leaks some seemingly outdated content and youtubers who have nothing to do but make outrage videos etc decided to make it their mission for a week to talk about it. They were trying to protect their investment but poor little youtubers who don't make any actual content and just parrot what the maddest of the mad say on forums get hurt because Sony and ND didn't want their work ruined.
Starting mine up now. Wish my Pro luck!
To be fair it's probably the same crowd review bombing the game and angry about the perfect scores.
Yeah, this is running the fan on the Pro the entire time, even when I was at the very startup where you choose subtitles. No biggie, I just turned up the volume while playing the game this morning.

Many of the videos taken down were critical of what was in the leaks and of ND but didn’t reveal any spoilers. You’re all good with that?
And that is the problem I have with Sony/ND. They totally over stepped and abused the youtube copyright infringement system. They claimed on people's videos who weren't showing any leaked content yet but were discussing it, info that was already out in the public.
How can you copyright claim people's opinions about public information? That's a scary thought.
It’s disturbing for sure, especially how there were zero consequences to them doing it. However, when they copyright struck their own tweet, that was hilariously poetic.
It was illegally obtained information they were trying to profit from in their videos, this isn't just speech these people were trying to make money off of ruining someone else's investment. These youtubers are all frauds, they do what they can to get the most views, they don't care about being fair, about being right or even if they are telling the truth as long as it gets views so they can earn a living sitting at home doing nothing but repeating basically word for word the angriest posts they see on forums and passing it off as their own view. Sadly people like to hear their own views parroted back at them as some kind of validation for their way of thinking which is sad in it's own right.
Best Buy, why you busting my chops? Got the email yesterday saying it was ready for pickup this morning, so I go in hopes of getting it curbside and nope, app said not ready... went to their curbside door and I’m greeted by a girl just sitting surrounded by a wall of collectors and Elle Edition boxes like the throne from game of thrones and she said this system is down and that it could take up to another two hours before I get a notification

Well decided to rent it, couldn’t believe the video store still had copies this afternoon. The story is the story, you’ll love or hate it, but the voice acting is great.
I’ve been most interested in the gameplay and combat, and I can say for me it’s every bit as good as in the videos. Chaotic but fluid, and everything from the melee combat to the gunplay is super impactful. AI is fun and fairly realistic, and oh lawd the graphics....this game is stunning.

I just saw a clip of someone turn off the game two hours in, uninstall and then cut the disc up with scissors. I heard it was going to be divisive but holy hell.

I'm enjoying it for what it is, but I will say that being that this is Ellie's game and we knew it would be the day they announced it that so far I don't find her quite as engaging as the main character as Joel was in the first game. I still have a long way to go, just got to Seattle not too long ago so there is still plenty to do.
