So it took me an hour, and I was on Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, New Egg, Microsoft and the Military site, AND my wife was on 4 of those trying to help me. That was way too stressful.
I don't fully understand why Microsoft has all access series x out of stock. People should still be able to pre-order even if it is going to arrive a bit later.

Not that often. The family there is a step-sister and her husband, so they usually are just at my parents or other relatives when we do get together. Last time I drove through Sun Prairie was probably on my way to Road America several years ago lol.
There has to be a better way of doing this. I literally wasted an hour and 10 minutes of my day (as many of us did), at least I was lucky to get one.
I think they need to make people put down $20 or something, the fact that you can order and not pay anything I think brings out all the bots and the people just looking to see who might not even really want one.
Best Buy still has pre-order button but every time I try it gives me an error about high demand. I'm guessing it's already gone anyways. rip

Agreed. There has to be a better way to do this. I liked the Gamestop queue system. Bundle that with some type of Capchta bot protection and limit 1 per billing address and we may be moving on the right track.
This felt like something from the early internet. How are we still crashing websites over a month before something even releases? At preorder time, Amazon was loading 1 picture at a time. It looked like dial-up!
Agreed. And with Amazon running half the internet with AWS, I would expect their website to be damn near bulletproof.
I tried Amazon when it finally went up still couldn’t get one. My local GameStop sold out soon as they opened the doors they had to turn the other people away. Best Buy wouldn’t work either when it went live. This blows.
