They outlined Trump's argument for wanting Biden arrested accurately. That's what was important.
Trump is not just doing all this just because he is Trump. He is obviously in trouble. I don't know whether it's just the $400m debt he owes to Russia or if he believes he'll be put in prison but he's not going to accept a loss.

What if Russia is interfering with the election with Bots, Ads, Memes, and Trolls? Any form of government influenced so easily has no integrity.

Lol, I found out from Youtube that Trump wanted to push the debate back a week because he was sick with coronavirus. That's a legitimate reason for wanting the debate pushed back. CNN/MSNBC didn't report that at all and instead reported that the sole reason why he wanted to debate in person was because he wanted to "infect Biden". That's not journalism. That's much worse than what I would get from The Young Turks, The Hill, or Secular Talk.

He didn't even want the debate moved. The commission decided to make it virtual and he only asked for it to be moved back because they wouldn't allow it to be done in person. Trump wants to travel and do a debate in person while he has the virus.
He wanted it moved back first and they called for it to be virtual. He shouldn't have had to ask them to push it back it's common sense.

A virtual debate would expose the fact Trump doesn't know what he is doing on any policy at all. He wants it to be in person just so he can interrupt and shout over biden.

You are wrong. They called for it to be virtual, Trump campaign refused to go, and then they asked for a delay. Those are the facts.
I don't get my news from those places either. I couldn't tell you what numbers those channels are on my TV.
CNN wants Trump re-elected. The info-tainment crew love Trump because he's amazing for ratings. If Biden wins, most of us go back to checking political news once a week at most. You are right, for the most part they aren't journalism. 24/7/365 cable news has to have sizzle every minute. That's not how actual news works. They care about ratings in the exact same way that other TV shows do.
Repeating these straw man arguments is exactly what will destroy this country.
