Zenimax Media/Bethesda

I’m glad all their games will be exclusive. Everyone said Xbox has no games and has no exclusives. Now they have exclusives up the wazoo and more games than any console.

Ok i see now.
Again a actual list from MS would be great but they have been quiet thus far.
As who's to say that they couldn't of figured out ways of getting out making some of these games?
Also I suggested(if they have to bring them to other platforms) timed exclusivity as that does help.

Imagine a new Doom or Fallout(if they are being worked on-if not keep them off PS) that is only in the XB ecosystem for 1 year?
That would move consoles trust me.

I must have a comprehension problem, I'm still feeling confused about the next installment of Wolfenstein, Doom, Starfield etc... I mean, it's still unclear, right?

I’m glad Phil confirmed everything is Xbox exclusive. When he said the reason for the purchase was for Xbox exclusives, it made me moist.

For those that are genuinely and in good faith unsure about verbiage, legacy software is not new software. New versions of old things aren't legacy. Microsoft bought Bethesda, not to make 7.5 billion back in Bethesda software sales but to drive their platform. They'll take 2 million $1 subs over 10 million sales for $60 to $70 each. If Sony accept Game Pass, Microsoft would bring it over in a heart-beat...but they won't. Therefore everything is exclusive.

10 million sales at $60 a pop is equal to $60 million one time sales. 2 million $1 trials may turn into 75% of those people not canceling and over the period of 5 years being worth $120 million of subscription sales not to mention engagement in the ecosystem, telling their friends, expanding mindshare, etc.

I'm just replying so "those" can read your post again because you understand like me, but they are others that just don't get it or don't want to wish it is true.

but this third point is just flat out false and I won't stand for the spreading of fake news

I mean, I've already sunk hundreds of hours into Skyrim and Fallout 4, but I guess I can start some new characters.....

I tried out both Fallout 4 and Skyrim's FPS boost modes, they definitely both seem to work as advertised. I used to think 3rd person mode was virtually unusable in base Fallout 4 in 30fps on consoles, but it's super easy and fun to do now .

Even though there were already mods to make these games run in 60fps, it's great to have official versions so you can still unlock achievements while playing.

Definitely going to download Dishonored and Prey. You couldn't pay me to get back into Fallout 76.

Looking forward to playing Prey and/or Dishonored. Never played them before and I've heard nothing but good things for both, especially Dishonored.

No it isn't.

1. Contractual based games will be released on the platforms they were signed on to. GhostWire and DeathLoop. Those are the only two contractually bound games that we know are going to the PS5. Big maybe on Starfield.

2. After that, nothing from Bethesda will be on Playstation consoles. There was never anything BEYOND those two games OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED as coming to the Playstation. Nothing.

3. This means....that every future Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom, etc are going to be on gamepass platforms only...i.e. Xbox/PC.

A note on Starfield. Since the Jim Ryan doesn't even know if the game will be on the PS5, it leads me to believe it will not. Obviously GhostWire was signed on, but apparently Starfield was not. Due to this.....I personally don't believe Starfield will be on the PS5 otherwise there wouldn't be confusion ergo the GhostWire will be the only future game Bethesda releases on the Playstation.
