Zenimax Media/Bethesda

Believing what fanboy YouTubers say over what MS actually said LOL
People have pointed out the wording and MS supposedly listens to feedback but has yet to elaborate.

to put it to rest i feel xbox needs to just release a statement just listing those games under contract.... like im sure those ps5 games will be launch exclusive, maybe for six months at the earliest

According to Tekphan what games Bethesda will release on PlayStation extends beyond contracts. If they are “working on” a PS version then that game will ship also. If only Phil Spencer actually said anything close to that.

I'm talking non timed games as well that were already being worked on for PS before the Zenimax purchase.

Them working on PS is a contract.

So everything being worked on prior to March..

Don't see how they could get out of honoring these contracts.

Phil Spencer - Contracts on current Bethesda games will be honored

Contracts are very likely games that have been in production.
ie very likely everything before the acquisition.

If they were working on Sony/PS with these games then they are coming to PS.

Games being worked on AFTER the purchase aren't coming to PS.

...and those games are the next Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom, etc. Starfield and Ghostwire were under contract. Elder Scrolls was not and all future big franchise games were not either.

Until Phil says those games were infact part of the contracts signed with Sony they aren't going onto a non-gamepass platform. Period.

Also...it's not 'games being worked on' lol it is 'games OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED AS RELEASING FOR THE PS5'. The next Fallout, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc were never announced for the PlayStation so they aren't going to be on the system. If ES6 was announced as coming to the PS5 maybe, but if I remember correctly the original trailer for ES6 in 2018 had it in development for the PS4.

That list looks about right with my guess unless they can get out of it somehow....

IF not nothing for at least couple to a few years that they make will miss PS.
Heck might not be till the next gen. We need a OFFICIAL list of these games.

IF my interpretation is correct many Xbox fanboys are going to feel betrayed.

I suggested exclusive time releasing these games as a temp solution.

Unless the game had a deal with Sony MS don't have to release it on PS.

We know 2 games had a deal, just because Elder scrolls might have been planned for PS5 MS can cancel that unless Sony had signed some sort of deal.
It's not hard and people need to accept that sooner rather than later no games from those studios will come to PS.

I personally took legacy games to mean Doom, Elder Scrolls etc...
Doom for example is still receiving dlc on other platforms. That type of stuff and possibly even remasters or enhancements to those games would remain multiplat.
Would the next Doom be exclusive? That’s where things get vague.

I would expect new iterations to be exclusive. Each title is a new game.

Phil Spencer: "I listen to the podcasts and all the questions, so I'm gonna try to be as clear as I can, because that's what I, I just think it's fair. So obviously I can't sit here and say every Bethesda game is exclusive, because we know that's not true. There's contractual obligations that we're going to see through as we always do in every one of these instances. We have games that exist on other platforms, and we're going to go support those games on the platforms they're on. There's communities of players. We love those communities and we'll continue to invest in them. And even in the future, there might be things that have either contractual things or legacy on different platforms that we'll go do. But if you're an Xbox customer, the thing I want you to know is this is about delivering great exclusive games for you that ship on platforms where Game Pass exists, and that's our goal. That's why we're doing this. That's the root of this partnership that we're building, and the creative capability we will be able to bring to market for our Xbox customers is going to be the best it's ever been for Xbox after we're done here."

They don't need to, the problem is that they are people that are so butt hurt about this they act like they think Phil wasn't clear.
2 things come out of this.

1. People understood what he said and it was Clear as Fuk.
2. People have a comprehension problem.

IGN and those other fools know damn well what he said and for them to act like they still not clear is to keep people hooked on something that will lead to nothing, we have some members here who still think he wasn't clear which it still blows my mind.

If this is not clear to you guys, then you need to go back to school...I'm sorry but not really.
