Well, MS wants to put Call of Duty on the Switch AND keep it on PlayStation, as well as make it available on the cloud...making it playable on iOS and Android.

Largest possible user base imaginable.

MS offered Sony 3 more COD games.
Anyone with a brain knows they offered the 3 to get the deal approved ie they weren't likely to give any to PlayStation.
Starfield isn't coming to PlayStation.
No more needs to be said.
So your speculation is gospel now is it. Cause that is all you offered.

Ironically, MS committed themselves to bringing COD to Nintendo. Why bother if they plan is to simply rip it off everything? Makes no sense.

You even said yourself that ripping it off PS wouldn't be good financially as that is the games biggest platform.

No company offers and indefinite contract. Anybody with half a brain cell knows that.

Not to mention Jim Ryan conceded the 3 years MS mentioned in its letter was more than was expected.
It's always going to be a case of the agreement being reviewed every few years.

Nintendo is a different market.
Nintendo isn't the home of COD's largest userbase.

It wouldn't be good but that's what MS is trying to do.
They are willing to bleed to take it away. They are used to bleeding see Xbox/GP.
Them offering 3 additional games is to please the people that have to approve or deny the buyout.
If it wasn't Sony wouldn't have such a issue with it.
Until you or anyone has some actual proof that's not what Sony(non fanboys with brains) sees...don't waste my time.
Would it be okay if Sony bought COD and made it exclusive since the Xbox user base is relatively small?
Makes the most sense now doesn't it?
The console with the largest install base doesn't even get COD... but would if 'Evil' MS owned it.
No they wouldn't MS offered 3 games.

Yep. All very anti consumer.
Switch's COD market isn't a factor see above..No they don't and they are THEE worst.

It's protecting the consumers.
By far the largest amount of cod players is on PlayStation.
that means nothing, a consumer can always move anywhere to any platform to get access to their game (COD) it is not stopping them from getting it, they just need to be on the Xbox ecosystem. If PlayStation players want to stay with SONY, they can do that, but don't expect to have everything for them. MS didn't go and buy $70 billion just for some moron to tell them what to do with their own things.

CMA should only be worried if MS owns it and charge it with an arm and a leg like $100. What SONY don't want is for the game to be $70 on their platform and it will be a free part of Gamepass. NOBODY ELSE ON THIS PLANET IS CRYING ABOUT THIS BESIDES SONY!

Forcing the majority of a franchises consumers to go to another platform is anti consumer.
These types of things the terrible MS is known for.

Exactly, it isn't the largest userbase. So where is the sense in taking it off its largest userbase when you aim to grow the playerbase. So, no, don't agree at all on "that is what they trying to do."

Your issue is you look at this from a console war perspective where ripping it off Playstation makes sense. But, COD is one of the few console games that makes billionS yearly. It isn't like Elder Scrolls games where you make a lot of money every 5 years. COD falls into the Minecraft mold and just like Minecraft it makes no sense to rip it off anything, now, or in 6 years unless something drastic happens within the home console space.

Your " Sony wouldn't have much issue with it" comment is laughable. Sony will have issue with anything that threatens their grip on a money maker like COD.

How about you provide proof and stop throwing your speculation around like fact. My proof is well documented. PHIL and Satya have backed my points up. They have said in the public domain several times the very opposite of your speculation.

People choose to forget a key thing. Activision want to be bought. They offered themselves to all and MS are the only ones who can or rather are willing to buy.
If somehow the deal doesn't go through. They will just work around it. Be that buying the COD IP which no one would be able to stop, then buying the rest which no one would bother to complain about as they would already own the key IP.
Or in an even funnier move they just get the current deal Sony have after it expires.

But these people ignoring the fact MS have said they want more people to be able to play (switch) goes against them claiming they will take it away from PS.

People want Microsoft to say they will keep CoD on PlayStation in perpetuity. No business enters a contract that is not going to end. That is f***ing dumb.

Microsoft extended CoD titles on PlayStation until 2027 because they expect new consoles to launch.

New gen, new contract. That simple.

Make your own exclusives instead of buying out other large multiplatforms lol

Where's that photo of the size of the XGS now. It's pretty significant.

They're probably waiting to see how many Bethesda exclusives there will be before making that decision lol.

That is side stepping the question.

The real answer is they won't. I don't understand this painting Sony as the savior and to be defended at all costs.

The real answer is noone knows. It's all going to depend on something. Maybe they'll keep it multiplatform to rake in that dough. Maybe they won't to counter MS taking away multiplatforms too.

Yeah all 1 so far.

PlayStation is it's largest userbase/playerbase.
It makes no sense financially but as I said already I can see MS doing this.
The most obvious reason is to make that money down the road assuming it's largest userbase goes to XB's ecosystem.

Sony wouldn't have much issue with it comment? Huh? Where did I say this and what was the context?

Sony publicly voicing concerns IS PROOF PERIOD.

Guys a PAID ambassador who gives a f*** what he says?
Sony's never done that?
They never took a game from it's largest userbase.

That is completely false.
It's a fact.
So Sony can have exclusives and Microsoft can't?
Because taking something away from it's biggest audience is the same as MAKING exclusives lmao
Yes cause its anti consumer when MS do it because MS are evil.
Yup
Make your own exclusives instead of buying out other large multiplatforms lol

They can't. Most things besides windows fails. MS is a out of touch company. Look how long they took to fire Bonnie Ross.
I'm going to go play as Spiderman in Avengers on Xbox..... oh wait.
Sony owns Insomniac.
Sony owns some Spider-Man properties.
PATHETIC comparison.
