2014 Electronic Arts E3 Conference Thread

It'd be nice if EA took a break from I dunno: Battlefield, Madden, FIFA, etc. year after year to give us Star Wars Battlefront and Mirror's Edge.
 
Is just a 32 player TDM. I was hoping for a more tactical game, like the SWAT series on PC.
 
My god, for once COD is changing it up more than BF, and it even looks better :eek:
 
I'd like to know where these respawn points are for each side. This looks a bit like a modified Rush game mode.
 
Wow...way to leave Xbox One out of it....that's stupid.

Well COD did have more interesting looking vehicles, so if those translate to MP I think COD could take it. Time will tell though.
 
Yeah, COD, graphically, looks a lot better than Battlefield by many miles.

Dount it. MP will not move to vehicles and stuff. It will stay as the small infantry on foot deal, IMO.
 
Mirror's Edge and Battlefield Hardline looked great. But Battlefield beta exclusive to the PS4?

Can we finally say the PS4 is just as much of a shooter console as the Xbox One? I don't get why people hate on that.

I understand what you're saying from a gamers perspective but from a business perspective, they need Madden, FIFA and Battlefield out every year because those are their cash cows. It wouldn't surprise me if the profits made from those games went to fund some of the less financially viable games such as Mirrors Edge.

I do not think they need a break. I think they just need to focus a bit more on what these games are supposed to be. Battlefield has lost its way since moving to consoles. Trying so hard to get that COD crowd that they are slowly alienating their core fanbase. They also need to focus on servers and launch preparations.

FIFA is fine yearly, but they need to nail down A.I right off the bat. However, it seems EA is more interested in whoring Ultimate team for the Micro-transactions.

Funny thing is, the one series people want a return off, and they are doing some lame looking racer and not the amazing Burnout series.
 
Ok, after DA gameplay footage, I'm back on board (though I'm not leaving you Geralt...just cheating a little ;))

Meh....kinda of done with BF after 4. Will wait and see between BFH and CODAW....but neither are moving the needle much.

Otherwise huge meh on the EA conference with no ME: C or SW: Battlefront teasing (better teasing needed there).
