Don't hold your breath for Gears. Definitely not this year and by the looks of it, probably not even 2015.

I agree. Gears is years away and with 2015 being so loaded with games I anticipate a 2016 launch.
I don't care for any other MS exclusives so my first purchase will be PS4.
There is a rumor going around that Uncharted is being shown behind closed doors on Project Morpheus, and that it might now be a Morpheus-only game...i.e. a killer app to sell the hardware.
Curious to see how this one pans out...it's cool yet sucks at the same time.

Tidbit: Uncharted trailer is confirmed to be cutscene in-game, in-engine and running in realtime on a one PS4. No pre-recorded render farm (stacks of PS4's). Looks glorious, I wonder how well the actual gameplay graphics will compare, but either way it is definitely great stuff.

Dead Island 2 is in California, not on a island.. Set a efw months after DI1, infection has spread worldwide, but California is extra bad, so they've walled it off.. hence it's become a island.. :-/
In California, so more ammo, but less gas. - much more crazy weapons, but not allways able to use then due to lack of gas...
Multiplayer with 8 people, can play coop..
Much more destructive enviroments than the original Dead Island..
Made by Yager Developement (Spec Ops: The Line) - not Techland..
Looked pretty good, some tearing..

Wow what a coincidence. The second he got called out for ND BS, his twitter feed suddenly has him being impressed by X1 games like Crackdown and Halo. Silly rumours seemed to have taken a back seat since ND's public embarrassment.
I guess im a wee bit confused, because I thought Dying Light was the spiritual successor to Dead Island, and that there would be no DI2? Guess the brand has gotten enough traction to give to someone else? DI2 is no doubt much further out, but given how much Dying Light looks like Dead Island, im wondering how DI will distinguish itself from that game.
