Never played the first. Might have it on Game Pass or PS+ I don't remember.

I said this in the gamepass thread, but I highly recommend giving the first game a shot if you like single player games. It’s one of my favorites and shocked me with the quality of the story, gameplay, and graphics.

I love the first game, I am sad with the direction of the 2nd.,

I mentioned before. By making Amicia another genetic Kickass Women empowerment character, it completely missed the charm of what makes her memorable in the first game. Overcoming impossible odds with wits and overcoming fear due to love of her brother is what make her a good character can relatable. In a way, she is more like Jennifer Connelly in The Labyrinth.

Now she is just another Lara croft ( I love Lara, she is my most used skin in Fortnite), but not every female protagonist (or male one for that matters) need to be a empowered Kickass person.

If the game looks like that in-engine footage then WoW. That end shot with the water and hight geomety detail looks amazing.

These days I'm like 95% single player so sounds right up my alley.

The game looks absolutely glorious as well. The final 20% was a drag though as they throw the kitchen sink at you, turning what should be just environmental puzzles that required just knowing what to making many precise timed moved in sequences. The final boss ( & a couple of boss fight) was also over the top for the type of game it is.

But still overall a very nice game.

The PS5 version of the first one rumoured to be part of July PS+ offerings. Let's see if the rumour's true.

UPDATE: Publisher Focus Home Interactive has also now confirmed this upgrade for PlayStation 5, and announced a Nintendo Switch cloud version of the game, also for 6th July.

I still haven't finished the first game yet. This one looks amazing so far.
