I'm playing the first remastered now , it's so far so good. Cutscenes graphics take a hit for some reason but in gameplay it's smooth on the PS5. I like the way it's unfolding the story now but I'll take my time with it.

The deluxe edition for the first game is one of my faves. Came with a book, CD, DVD of the mini prequel series, and the packaging looked great, and was compact. Large enough to stand out, but wouldn't take up much room.
Yeah, especially the spooky games are a perfect fit for when everyone else goes to sleep.

They are bringing back the mix of live action with the game, that live action stuff looks awful imo.
Agreed. And strangely the shooting mechanics (what I expect Remedy to excel at based on how good past titles are) look pretty clunky and have odd animations. I wouldn't be surprised at all if despite the recent delay announcement, they delay it again to 2024. Repeat delays seem appropriate for an Alan Wake game.
