It is easy to look past that, though. Government, shady private organisations, the fact they didn't seem surprised or worried about this creatures existence at the start of Aliens.How are they going to make an Aliens tv show that is set on Earth before Ripley even finds the crashed space ship without somehow having the actual aliens on Earth? And that pisses all over the original story. If it is set about 70 years in the future its based in the time of Prometheus (set in 2091, Ripley was born in 2092). They better handle this well.
