Why would there be concern over Xbox (or PS) digital libraries?
There was a large conversation about this when Sony removed all Discover content from their user's libraries.

Apparently, it wasn't the first time they had done something like this. However, losing access to a purchased good, digital or not, is anti-consumer and cause for concern. The more things like this happen, the less consumers will have confidence in their digital purchases.

'For the last few months, there has been a bug impacting a relatively small amount of PlayStation Network users, in which all digital licences (including purchased games and titles added to one's library via PlayStation Plus) become decoupled from your transaction history which shows you purchased those things,' Dsuds said in their post.

The bug wipes games from your account, and to make it worse Dsuds adds that if you're affected by the bug you can't re-download the missing games, as your PlayStation account won't let you.

PlayStation has yet to comment on the issue publicly, but it is aware of it, according to Dsuds. Metro has also reached out to Sony for comment.
