Just going to quote myself here.

So Titanfall is dead. If this game does well, they will pump all of their resources into making more for this game or possibly a sequal. If it does poorly, Respawn is done. I can't see a scenario where we get a Titanfall 3 now.

Remember that EA paid 500 million to buy Respawn AFTER Titanfall 2 released. I have a feeling that this was planned all along.
Yes i do realize that this could just be misdirection and nothing is confirmed, but it sure feels like Titanfall is done.

Apex is dying, and with the poor content roadmap and the eternity it takes them to address the issues the game game will continue its downward spiral.

Therefor, I wouldn't assume TF is dead.

Very disappointing if true. Titanfall 2 had one of the best single player campaigns for a shooter in a while. Add in a great mutliplayer and coop mode and it was a very rounded out game.

For sure. Once I saw the buy out I got super nervous for the fate of Titanfall. 450 is a lot to spend on a developer that underpwrfirmed on their first two games. I think they saw the talent and could use them to make a more monitizable game. Just my thoughts anyway

This game is so weird. I get 2 level 100 players with a bajillion kills each and we don't get top 10. Then I get two level 20 somethings with a combined kill count of 10 and we win the game.

Just picked it up again Wednesday, there's a Legendary Hunt going on for the next week. Includes Douple XP weekend starting at 1PM EST.

Also, they added an Elite Queue, which you can only get in if you placed in the Top 5 of your last game. While more of a camp fest, the circle gets smaller way faster and being outside of it hurts you a lot more the longer the game goes on.

All I need to do for the Legendary Hunt is get to level 15 on the Battlepass lol. Still haven't done that.

I find it funny that peoplr call it a new game mode, it is just a worse version of the same thing we had day one. I don't even que up in the Elite que.

I like that there is an incentive to play a more patient style but the incentive isn't really that great

That you play people from the top 5 of their last games? They tend to be better players so far from what I could tell. Games seem to go faster too

Pretty cool trailer to be fair. Very Apexy.

Still not sure why the wildlife is coming in is going to change much map wise, though.
Feel like it'll change the tactics when the circle gets smaller, having to avoid big stomps and big ol birds

She feels a bit situational. Combining her with Caustic can be interesting.

Limiting it to 5 kills and having nothing for assists is really dumb.

Finally put in time to get better with the havoc. Before friday I couldn't use this weapon to save my life, but spent nearly 2 hours in traing arena on friday and now it is one of my favourite weapons.

Spitfire for life still, though:txbsmile:

No it isn't. It is all skill.

I stopped playing ranked. Just a pointless endevour when anybody can climb the rankings. I don't think ranked will last very long in its current state.

The point system would need to be completely changes. Even in Platinum people are afraid of fights.

I've only played a few games of ranked, but from what I've been told the game rewards survival over kills in the point system. I switched over to playing non ranked and that was more action oriented

Lower winning points to like half.
Increase max number of kills to like 10.
Add points for revives and respawns to help promote team play.
Increase RP cost from silver up.
Massively punish quitters with RP loses and bans from the game.

I would think that would make the game too rewarding for hot drops. I do think a slow pace should be a viable option it just shouldn't be the only one.

I definitely don't like points for revives or respawns. Deaths should not be rewarded.

Only if match cost is low. Hence increaseing match entry cost significantly.

Death isn't rewarded. Team play is. These would be fairly low in total, though.
