Why?Ubisoft is making a stronger argument for me keeping Playstation+ Extra than Sony are.
In comparison the old games were pretty boring. It is a step backwards, but in a good way. The last couple AC games were fun, but it lost its identity. AC became a big open world brawler and lost touch with the stealth elements.
Not everyone might remember AC1. It was all about stealth and living in the shadows, not fighting 50 guys.
I think it is good to mix up the formula.
Why?
It has never had Ubisoft+, the service doesn't exists on Playstation.Doesn't Extra come with Ubisoft+, or did that get dropped recently and I didn't notice?

Sony did label the Ubisoft games on there as Ubisoft+Classics or something like that, but it isn't Ubisoft+ at all.
Sure, but going back playing 1 (and even 2 and 3), and it's a test of patience having to deal with bad stealth gameplay...tbh, very few games can make stealth work good... honestly having a hard time thinking about any game basing their gameplay around stealth and make it work (a few missions here and there doesn't count). It is a step backwards, but in a good way. Do you honestly think that the PlayStation official Twitter page is going to promote Xbox in their tweet?... and Xbox and PC.
FixedDo you honestly think that the PlayStation unofficial fanboy is going to promote Xbox in their forum post?

I think people look through rose tinted glasses on the old AC games and would prob change their minds if the play through them again (I did, I've played through 2-4 and the Ezio spin offs on switch).
I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see this AC being anything more than a clumsy step backwards.
I hope they make new AC games in the same style as Odyssey, Origins etc going forward.
They have the worst reviews lol. Wish I could be home today, I think the New Zealand trick works for this one6/10 at SonySpot
Assassin's Creed Mirage Review - Back To Basics
Assassin's Creed Mirage's focus on social stealth and detective work makes for a compelling dive into ninth-century Baghdad.www.gamespot.com
The Good
- Creative adaptability is rewarded in a variety of social stealth-driven assassination missions
- Interlocking investigations make you feel like a growing detective uncovering the truth one step at a time
- The world design of the city of Baghdad is superb
The Bad
- The game's storyline cannot stand on its own, requiring knowledge from previous games to be interesting
- The supporting cast of characters isn't memorable or all that interesting
- Freerunning is better than in the past few games, but small hiccups keep Mirage from matching the best the franchise has had to offer
Interesting... by looking at the gameplay videos available I'd say it looks to be the opposite.

Yeah that jumped out to me too. I’m curious which games have the best parkour in their eyesInteresting... by looking at the gameplay videos available I'd say it looks to be the opposite.
I'm not sure it will ever come to GP. Ubisoft has their own GP like service now. This game is it day 1 too, apparently.I'll wait for when it appears on Game Pass and then try it out.
I’ll be curious when I get home if the New Zealand trick works when getting the game through a subscription serviceI'm not sure it will ever come to GP. Ubisoft has their own GP like service now. This game is it day 1 too, apparently.

It doesn't on Ubisoft+. You can't even pre-download.I’ll be curious when I get home if the New Zealand trick works when getting the game through a subscription service
Woah, if you pre download with the Xbox app then change your region it works. Just starting the game now!It doesn't on Ubisoft+. You can't even pre-download.
The trick works for games in GP, though.
