Batman: Arkham Knight (PC/PS4/XB1 and Now... Switch))

I've beaten it on PC yesterday.

I would rank Arkham Knight in this Order:

Arkham City > Arkham Asylum > Arkham Knight > Arkham Origins

I enjoyed the Batmobile segments. However, due to the Batmobile being added, it took away level design segments that Arkham City had alot of when you are exploring indoor areas on foot which I think is way more fun to play.

that seemed to be it. Really ramped up towards the end though.

Nice how it came full circle

Finished it yesterday as well. I enjoyed the story quite a bit, though some parts fell a little flat. To me, Arkham Knight is the best in the series. That is not a knock on the previous games, but outside of Origins this is a series that just kept improving, so I see each sequel as better than the last game.

My biggest issue wasn't with the Batmobile, I had a great time with that, it was the boss fights. Pretty underwhelming, and I don't know why they just didn't steal some ideas from origins.

Nah it looks better on PC.
We got both here and I seen it for my self 1st hand.
well i had it on PC.. played for 6 hours, then tried it on PS4, as i get all the games my bro buys on PSN, just to see.. played on same TV. swtiching between them, PS4 looked better and smoother (30fps on PC is still stuttery as f***) so decided to stick with PS4

thankfully i got my refund for PC

EDIT: oh worst culprit being texture quality streaming being slow as f*** atlease on my machine

Decided to do everything before I continued the story mission, took me time, overall progress is now 98 %:

Batman for PC has the first patch up!

- Fixed a crash that was happening for some users when exiting the game

- Fixed a bug which disabled rain effects and ambient occlusion. We are actively looking into fixing other bugs to improve this further

- Corrected an issue that was causing Steam to re-download the game when verifying the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client

- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when turning off Motion Blur in BmSystemSettings.ini. A future patch will enable this in the graphics settings menu

I played it @ 60fps with the only dips being the driving but it still looked better then the PS4 version oh and zero stuttering.
I am hearing 16gb is a must. Will wait until its completely fixed before diving back in though.

well then you clearly ignored my post..

Apart from the parts when you can get consistent 60fps

if you get them both at 30fps (which is the most stable way to play on PC, atleast on anyting less thank a gtx980). PS4 is better with the effect and smoothness.

It was a solid 30fps before I went in the ini and made it 60fps.
I don't have a 980

it still missed visual effects like AO! as a PC gamer i would think you would appreciate the little details lol

anyway the new patch brings it inline with PS4/X1 graphics effects. that was quick and now puts the PC game above all. but performance isnt part of this patch, so if you had s*** frame drops it will still happen

I recommend going into the .ini file and turning off Motion Blur.

I no longer have studdering when I'm driving the Batmobile, and Flying at high Speeds.

Too bad I already beaten the main story.

I'm taking my sweet time with this game, but it is amazing. Hope Rocksteady does Supes Justice next.

Yes a good superman game would be nice, also in this game do have Superman easter eggs around, like the Lex corp, talk about Lex Luthor and I do recall some of the thugs randomly talking about Superman.

This furthers my disappointment towards the lack of challenge maps.

I almost pulled the trigger but went with TW3 instead. Arkham Knight will be next! Looking forward to it.

No. The game has memory leaks in VRAM and system RAM. They've already said they're going to fix those.

If I had to make a choice between the two? I'd go TW3. More bang for your buck.

It would be a hard choice though cus Arkham Knight is just awesome. But So is Witcher 3 and that game can take you a 100+ hours to finish AND has replay value!

Yikes! Does this free-roam allow you to use Azreal's sword?

No cannot use the sword, would be great if could, I see that now error on link sow here is source link:

If trying this mod make a new game, because as far as I tried cannot get back to playing as Batman, pressing F11 and nothing happens.
Also F1 there I think needs the dlc to work as I did not get that one working either.

man what a fun game, honestly we are in such a good run of game releases. i love the story so far but i do love the whole batman universe so i may be bias.

people whined about batmobile but i really enjoy it, change of pace and so far it hasnt been frustrating

I really liked the batmobile fights. Liked less the reliance on it during many story missions, but whatevz.

I emphatically did *not* like how short and simply lame the quinn mission was. Not worth pre ordering for. Obviously the whole game itself is worth it, but for what the dlc is, i don't think they should have even bothered making it. Took me 13 minutes. Just...blergh

thats why i dont get people who whine about preorder or store specific DLC.. they are 99.99999% of the time pointless or just terrible

For real. I'll probably be playing TW3 until mid August, lol. The game is just so deep. Maybe i'll take a break in between and run through Arkham Knight.
