Boycotting this game until they fixed the PC version (even though I can get it op PS4, which has been collecting dust).

Is it really THAT bad on PC? I read that some people are playing just fine.
I actually just started downloading like two days ago and it was excruciatingly slow and at one point the download resetted cus I was messing with the servers too often I assume...Well about 5 hours left now and I really wanted to play it. But if it is unplayable I might just request a refund.

It's that bad. The people playing it fine are in the minority and I'll go so far to say they aren't playing it fine at all. The stuttering and problems might just be easier to overlook for some people. It's a little better if you play on an ssd for example but even then there are still glaring problems.

The PC version of this game might just be the worst PC port released in recent memory. Yes...worse then even Ubisofts offerings of late.
30 hours + (steam says 36, but have had some breaks where left the game on) and that sounds about right with games like this I often use to play around 10 hours or more every day.
Even I though I only spent $24 on this game, feels like a scam. Well I haven't even installed it yet, just reading how bad the PC version runs is enough for me to let my keycode sit in my email.

Got the game and I'm playing it on Xbox One. I'm really enjoying myself getting back in the groove. Game looks great in my opinion.
I feel bad for my PC brothers. Part of me wishes the FTC would get involved in the release of these unfinished games but I guess the consumer will have to choose winners & losers.

Yesterday I tried to crack it.. and couldn't. The lowest it got down too was 22fps but consistent as I was generating a lot of the pretty smoke from Gameworks. I could not make the game stutter or freeze.. hmm.
Watched my son play the PS4 version and..... I don't know what people are seeing? The PC version as it is now still looked better.
I need to bring it in the living room and hook it up to my 65 incher and see if that changes things.

So GMG confirmed my refund will happen and that I just need to wait for the process. Game is still in my steam account and I can still play it. I'm assuming it's just a matter of time before steam locks me out of the game? Or will they be generous enough to let me keep it?
It all looks great and plays great, but I'm not seeing any areas that were as visually interesting as arkham city and asylum. Wonder city in AC was quite an experience.

With Gameworks enabled @ 4k? Probably. But without AO, it really looks better on PS4 IMO. Add AO and suddenly the game will jump ahead of consoles. Rain textures and DOF aren't much of a big deal.
