I assume the XSS version is being made along side the One X and PS4 pro versions. Separate team for XSX and PS5.
Now you can play with 65 players, but 1 player has to sit in the lobby!

Yep, 2 teams are making BF6. One team for last gen consoles and another for next gen.
You know I'm down might double dip.
Want to main Xbox Series X but every time on am on nobody is playing the games I play or are not on so I am on PS5.

Cross plays cool but ffs why do they keep bothering with the battle royale, at least it's free.

Yeah I do not understand why this idea that BF needs to be "noobified" keeps getting repeated, when it is exactly what killed BF5. MW Warzone is so punishing, yet it is one of the most popular games around still.
Not to mention, throwing console/controller players in with PC players (and their cheats) isn't exactly new player friendly. I jump into Warzone on a console and I get absolutely deleted most games before I even get my loadout now. It doesn't seem to hurt the game one bit, Activision is still making billions on it.

It is dumb.
What killed BF5 was EA. The first reveal drove alot away. The insta death issue. The maps and locations weren't what the masses wanted. Messing with the TTK the first time drove lots away. The game had huge balancing issues. The game focused way too much on infantry v infantry combat. Tides of War was garbage.
And then they drop The Pacific content, everybody having a blast. You were hard pushed to find a negative comment about it...and what do EA/Dice do? Yep, they f*** with the TTK again bringing about another deluge of bad press.
Yeah. So nice that Mile Morales, God of War 2, Horizon 2, etc, aren't supporting that weak , ancient hardware.

Not sure where you get that. At least so far, Neither console is doing anything a Good PC cant do better.
Maybe once they are in full swing and doing crazy innovative stuff centered around the unique i/os and SSDs.... and that's a big maybe.
Right now, there is nothing to back that up.
Minimum spec still includes 5400 RPM HDD'S.(among other things)
These consoles 3rd party games are held back due to this.
PS5 exclusives ie not on any other platform games won't have these weaknesses.
Yet we haven't seen these theoretical games yet. I haven't seen anything that couldn't be done better on a good PC
That said, I dont care for PC gaming anyway, as I prefer the console experience. That said, a good PC is still going to stomp the consoles.
Until I see proof to the contrary, I'll hold that opinion. Just the cost factor makes it impossible, and I have doubts about the I/O hype. Nothing has demonstrated and I'm beyond finished with the unproven proclamations of some magical breakthrough.
