'Battlefield: Hardline. Arriving 2015

BF successor or Just another EA game whoring some brand recognition because its too afraid to come out as an original IP. When do we get "Battlefield Need 4 Speed - Madden edition". But hey, I guess I shouldn't blame EA as much as I should the sheep mentality of 'gamers'. Stop preordering, stop buying season passes before you even know what it is and try something new once every so often.

Honestly, I am not too interested right now. The BF name has lost all sway with me since its jump to consoles.
I'll only get it if it's a true next gen title, if they made it for 360 and ps3 also no thanks.Besides that I like the direction they're going, sounds almost like a payday type of game except rolls are switched
Seen quite a few of BF2 players who has been that way since BF3. I kinda understand, but coming waaaaay back from 1942 days I just think that BF2 went a little different places. Hopefully, BFHL will mark a return to some of the tactical elements of BF2.
But frankly, if it was Battlefield 5, or any other setting, I wouldn't have been too interested. Then they drove the series to crime stuff, my bread-and-butter genre. I'm thinking of Payday 2 running on Frostbite, holy hell. I have to give them props for that.
I foresee COD with the BF name. Hope I am wrong-for your sake, but I do not think you will get your payday 2 on FB3 wish. I would love a tactical game in the realm of the PC SWAT series or old Rainbow Six, but in this day and age, that is a rarity.
That would really help most new games, as I believe having to make games that can be optimized for the 360/PS3 are actually holding back progress in the current gen. It makes financial sense given the install base, but im looking forward to when the cord is cut with last gen by devs. Just look at Batman AK. It has no last gen version, so the devs can just go as balls to wall as they're able to, and the results from what I can see are fantastic.
Im interested in this new BF, mainly because its Visceral doing it. Im also for any franchise attempting something new. This whole cops and robbers theme could be pretty cool actually. I would have preferred Bad Company 3 actually, but ill give this some consideration.

Yeah. Visceral making it along with the NFS guys should mean it will feel different from BF. Cause just a reskinned BF with urban maps is not gonna cut it for me. There ARE apparently rumors that DICE is making the MP.
That sucks, but im glad I got to see it. Looks like quite a fresh approach to the series. Some of those game modes in multiplayer look like a ton of fun, and it seems as though Visceral is actually working hard at giving the game a good campaign. When I first heard the concept, I was intrigued, but after seeing it in action, im just about ready to say take my moneys!.
That looked AWESOME!
The world seems like it is open world. The SP is shaped like a TV show with cliffhangers and all. Destruction, Guns, and Gadgets all look good. We now have Zipline and grappling hooks. Love the Starsky & Hutch inpsired bonnet slide. Levolution is in full effect, and the game features Cars, armured vehicles(SWAT type), boats, Planes, and Helicopters for both SP & MP.
Looks awesome. The online portion looks like what GTA 5 should have been.
This game is now locked on my Radar.
