Battlefield V

Given a choice I'd pick Battlefield over Fortnite any day. Something about the aircrafts, tanks, jeeps, ships, destruction, chaos, etc, etc......
but...but....but....dat dance...

Like I said in another thread I think half the people that play Fortnite do it because it’s the so popular “it” game right now. I enjoy it in small doses but it is not something I can play hours on end weekly.

Remind me of the days when I was a kid "My dad can beat the s*** out of your dad"

I see kids

Regardless, it's such a stupid and/or lazy argument. The demographic we're talking about (pro athletes) embraced Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Madden, Battlefield as recently as a year ago. Now they embrace Fortnite. People here so salty that everyone, including kids, play Fortnite today.

Agree completely. A bunch of people have failed the "Did Ken Levine say this, or was it over heard at 4th grade recess" test. Step your game up people.

That map looks awesome. Reminds me of the fun city map in BF1.

That person plays my style of BF. Spawn, run, run some more, follow a teammate, get shot, die, wonder where the medics are.

I thought that was my thing. :)

Amines. I think it gave off a bit of a seine crossing vibe from bf3.

Battlefield 1 is alive and well there's so many people still playing. The 4k update for the X is a HUGE difference. The only problem I have is if you are on a side that's getting a one sided pounding there's a pretty good chance it will happen in the next game. Fix that damn matchmaking get some awesome maps and we're set for the next one.

No game comes close to sound design everything sounds so intense in battlefield.

Agreed I loved the look and the sound in BF1. It made you feel like you were in the middle of a big battle.

Sucks that it is delayed, but better than just having the "beta" right before launch. Good to see they are listening to people who have been playing. This fall is pretty packed anyway.

My only minor gripe is I cancelled a preorder for another October game, thinking this was going to take all my time. Of course now I lost the Amazon Prime old price.

1st world problems...

It was a good move to delay it but I think they may be better served pushing it into next year not just a month later.

Just a heads up...if you have EA Access or pre-ordered, the beta starts tomorrow (the 6th for everyone else).

Annoyingly, the only way to pre-load it currently is to go to the MS store and look for it.

I've got this downloaded but won't have a chance to play it until this evening. Has anyone tried it yet?
