I like Borderlands 2, but Gearbox as a developer left a sour taste in my mouth. I am not buying any game from them soon.

A little selfish thinking maybe? A lot of people are still enjoying last gen, thank you.

Its not that we resist upgrading, but many of us are not interested in just more shiny version of a game, & wanted good games that actually make use of next gen hardware (that over-wise couldn't be done on last gen).

Than again, supposedly next gen consoles struggled to run more shiny version of last gen games already....
 
i read they said no due to the lack of new next gen consoles in peoples hands.

anyway, stick with me here.
judging by this past years releases on cross gen, i think it would have fared better on this gen and i fully expect it to not do to well on last gen as i'm starting to think that many a gamer who bought the last 2 may have already jumped ship to this gen.

There are plenty of games on last gen consoles to play yet.
 
Yeah, last gen needs to bow out right about now. It was a long generation. I have no problem with developers supporting old consoles for a year or two after the next gen starts but come on. Of course we want Borderlands on our new consoles. What kind of question is that?

Is this publisher asleep at the wheel? We are in the next gen and have been for some time. The people who've bought into the xbox one and PS4 don't want to hear this crap. Sure, there might not be 150 million current-gen consoles "installed", as they say, but if no one motherf***ing makes good games for these consoles, how is that going to help in the long run?

What an incredibly short-sighted attitude, IMO. At the very least, make it MULTI-generational. I wouldn't even care if it was digital only on the PS4. But don't f***ing tell me that it's because "we're not sure we'd get enough sales". You know what? I LOVE the borderlands franchise, and I own a 360 and PS4, but I'm boycotting the last-gen version of it. Dumb asses...
